I'm pleased to see that Birchbox carries Dermablend; I've been using it for a number of years to cover a raised red birthmark. It works beautifully and will not fade or rub off when used with their setting powder. I use all the wonderful brands of make up, eye shadow and blush Birchbox sends me, but only use Dermablend to cover the red mark that is raised and small. Friends who have never seen the mark are totally surprised when they see me without makeup for the first time as they had know idea there was a permanent blemish there. Dermablend once had highly skilled makeup artists available in upscale department stores to teach clients how to apply the makeup. This may not be available to clients any more. I took the classes in the 80's after a surgeon told me it would take two operations to remove the lesion. He told me specialty makeup was the better route to take.
