I really liked the Pore Minimalizer mask from a few months ago, and thought I would give this one a try.
This mask is ... different? ... from other masks I have tried. It is in 2 pieces, and hooking it over my ears sure felt goofy (but I can deal with that). More importantly, the mask is 'thick' (maybe 1/8") and 'dry' (there is a peel-off plastic layer). So dry that I have actually wondered if the ones I have opened were dried out in the processing or packaging.
The short story is that i cannot say my skin felt taut or less wrinkled. I can say it definitely did not feel vibrant, and there was no change to elasticity... and certainly did not hydrate.
I use sheet masks all the time. I must say this is the first one that I purchased that was a complete waste of money. I agree with one reviewer who thought the mask might have dried out. That is how it feels, like it either dried out or they forgot to put the product in it. Either way, the results are nonexistent.
Not All That
I love sheet masks -- 3x a week has made a HUGE difference in my skin. This one, however, was the worst one I have tried. The bottom portion of this two-piece mask did not fit; my ears would have had to be directly under my eyes for this to fit properly. There was no serum or moisture on the mask at all. I will continue to indulge my sheet mask addiction, but this one will not be in the rotation.
I was looking for a mask to minimize fine lines and unfortunately with than mask, that goal wasn't accomplished. This mask was also very awkward. It has weird wings that are supposed to fix over your ears. They barely fit and were very uncomfortable.
Was hoping for better
I like these 2 piece masks better than a slimy sheet mask that moves all over my face. With that being said there was NO serum or anything in the packet and the mask actually just felt sticky/rubbery. I don't think I would buy this again. I love my other Dr. Jart products but this not so much.
