I have slowly been adapting my morning and evening routines to be more like a Korean beauty regimen rather than typical Western routines. I have very young skin and I want to be proactive about maintaining that glow and elasticity. Sheet masks are praised in Asian beauty communities and I use several Dr. Jart products, so this was an easy pick for me.
This is a different kind of indulgence for your skin. If you have not used a sheet mask before, it can be a little awkward. You feel like Hannibal, but just brew some tea and pick something on Netflix, and wait the full 20-30 minutes of application. Your skin will thank you for it.
Sheet masks have an abundance of serum on a hydrogel mask, so make sure that you don't waste the excess when you take the mask off. Massage it into your skin, spreading to your neck if there is a lot of excess remaining. There is a slightly sticky feeling to this serum but it went away quickly. I used mine at night and the next morning, I had the best looking skin I've had in a while. This is after working a 60 hour week and a break-up filled with lots of ugly crying. This product has been a godsend for me and I can't wait to try more sheet masks in my routine.
