Too expensive; buy the real stuff instead

I've been using Lansinoh on my lips for 12 years -- it's the same product (but marketed to breastfeeding mothers for their nipples). You get 1.4 ounces for about $6-$9 (depending on the store --grocery, Target, WalMart, etc.), instead of this puny 1/2 ounce size for $14. If you want a small size for your purse, just squeeze some into an empty lipgloss pot, put it in the microwave until it melts into liquid; put it in the fridge until it hardens again and -- voila! -- you have the perfect lipbalm/gloss. It's the best thing out there for your lips, hands down. I swear by it and would never use anything else.

A little thick, but it gets the job done
Sampled

This was the first time that I'd heard of Dr. Lipp and I was skeptical of the product. But after using it for a few days, it really improved my chapped lips. Unlike other products I've used, my lips stayed refreshed even a few days later. It took me a bit to get used to how thick the product was, but I'm glad I did!

I love this lip balm. It is great for chapped lips and works immediately. I put it on before my lip color so it doesn't look cracked.

love it, but would like more for the money

I love it as it makes my lips feel awesome, but I wish you got more for your money! The full size is only a tad smaller than the sample, which was a disappointment.

very interesting, works well! I don't know if it does everything they say it does - you could make most balms fulfill all of these supposed uses, but still, a good product overall.

Hydrating, but greasy

While this product did help out on my super-dry cuticles, I felt like it also made a bit of a mess on everything else. Applying this with a Q-tip instead would have been a better idea, but I didn't have those handy when at work and my hands were in the most need of attention.

Love this product!

As a nursing mommy, I was so excited to see this product in my BB! The multi-use balm feels great on, but it can be a little sticky when first applying. If you warm it up on your fingers first, it is easier to apply! 5 Stars!

I really thought that this product worked well. It hydrated for a long time. I did not like how thick it was or how it smelt but it does work just how it advertises.
