If I said that I love this product it would be an understatement. It is intended to be used after moisturizer and bring out the effects of it. Skin is visibly more hydrated after using, and it smells so beautiful that if this brand were to sell it in a full size body lotion I would purchase it in a heartbeat.
Nostalgia in a bottle
I wasn't planning on reviewing this tonight. I just got it and put it on for the first time. It feels nice on and it seems to do what it says it does just fine. But, the smell... It's so remarkable it demands a review while I'm still enthralled by it. It smells like memories. Specifically, it smells like church during the summer when I was a kid. That one specific smell that only happened when everyone was just coming in, and the sun was shining through the windows on the pews and waking up the smells locked in the wood, of the finish and of the wood itself, and the mingled smells of everyone's different clean laundry and mingled perfumes, with a hint of smoke from the candles and the residue of some old guy's stogie, the must from the hymnals older than I was and the fragrance of the fresh flowers and the spicey hit from the ferns filling out the bouquets on the altar and at the door... even a smell of age from the building itself. I could see where someone might not want to smell in such a way as to be associated with Sunday school when investing in a beauty cream, but I am going happily to bed with the scent of childhood on my cheeks.
