Birchbox Breakdown

It’s a little-known trick, but brushes beat fingers when it comes to applying creamy products like highlighter. This one has soft, dense SmartTech® bristles that are designed to pick up and deliver both cream and powder formulas without absorbing them. The fan-shaped head gives it added versatility, too: Sweep it onto the cheekbones, down the bridge of your nose, at the cupid’s bow, and onto the center of your forehead for an overall brightened, radiant look.

How to Use

On bare skin or after applying foundation, sweep the brush across your highlighter of choice and tap off excess (if using powder). Then, drag it where the light hits your face: onto cheekbones, down the nose, above your lips, and onto your forehead. Blend well.

Not for me
Purchased

I wanted to try out a fan brush to apply my highlighter instead of a packer brush to get a more natural finish. After using this brush, I think I'll stick to my packer. It applied my highlighter in a stripe on my cheek and I had to go back in with a fluffier brush to blend it out so I wouldn't look crazy. I don't like having to use two separate brushes to blend a product out, one brush should be enough if it is good quality.
