This may be a soap made in the style of African Black Soap, and it might be a really nice soap. But it's NOT genuine African Black Soap. I've been handling imported African Black Soap for friends who need it for years and I've never seen it come in actually black-colored. Many users in reviews mention that it's gritty or scrubby, another detail that's not usual. The scent of shea butter is unusual for many US users but it's an easily acquired taste for most people, so that part is likely in the style of the soap being copied here. If you like the soap itself, wonderful! But don't think it's the "real deal" as claimed, because it's not.
