Have you heard of CCD? Short for Colony Collapse Disorder, it refers to the decline of honeybee populations in Western countries, and it’s a cause for concern if you happen to rely on pollinated plants for sustenance (in other words, if you are human). Luckily, BeeKind™ is on the case, donating a portion of its proceeds to supporting honeybee research at the University of California. This richly foaming cleanser comes infused with nourishing honey, organic calendula, and not a small amount of eco-friendly good karma. So lather up, soak in the fresh lemon verbena scent, and then go ahead and pat yourself on the back.
How it Works
This high-lather shower gel is free of potentially harmful ingredients, such as: parabens, phthalates, petrol-derived ingredients, mineral oil, urea, DEA, TEA, and propylene glycol. In place of petrochemicals, there’s skin-conditioning honey, organic calendula, and Brassica plant extract, as well as good old-fashioned soybean and cottonseed oil for an added moisture boost. And as if that weren’t enough, the packaging is recyclable.
How to Use
Squeeze a generous dollop of cleanser onto a loofah or sponge. Lather and rinse.
