I love the rollerball that's on the applicator with this... it always feels cool going on and it allows you to really stretch out the product, as you don't need a lot of it! Immediately makes my eyes look better!
Not a huge fan
I bought this hoping it would help lighten my dark circles and I was sadly disappointed. I felt it did help with the bag somewhat but did not help lighten my circles.
This is the best ever dark circle eye product I have used up to this date! I would highly recommend this product to anyone with severe eye circles!
Serum doesn't blend
The good: the roller-ball applicator is soothing and easy to use, though you really only need half a pump. It also did moisturize the area and make the lines around my eyes more smooth for a short time.
The bad: the product didn't lessen dark circles, and after a few weeks of use (with my clarisonic opal, no less) I haven't noticed any reversal. it's definitely just a treatment
The ugly: this is a serum and the product recommends using a moisturizer as a follow-up. i DO use eye serums + moisturizer + supergoop eye cream with SPF, and this was a disaster at blending. it would start to have a weird, flaky residue when blending multiple products. in the morning, by the time i got to eye shadow primer and eye makeup, i was using makeup remover so my eyes didn't look like they were seriously peeling.
overall: will NOT be purchasing and would NOT recommend. MUCH better products out there.
Application is key!
You only need a half pump per eye. It's a fine/light lotion/serum & once you use the rollerball to apply it in a circular motion under your eyes and away towards your temple to promote drainage & reduce puffiness you gently tap in the remaining lotion. It's cooling & brightening. I was shown the appropriate way to apply this as I purchased it at Sephora. If you're just rolling it under your eyes and gooping 3 or 4 more products on top of it of course you're going to get cakey & flaking. Yuck! I love it, it feels nice, it's subtle & it works!
