Nine times out of ten, moisturizers list water as one of their main ingredients. Juice Beauty’s oil-free hydrator is a standout exception to the rule. Their active-packed formula is made with a powerful base of organic juices so that every single drop feeds your skin. Full of antioxidants, it’s great for those with oily or blemish-prone skin since the lightweight formula won’t clog pores.
I honestly was not a big fan of this product. I thought this lotion would soak in and feel light on my skin but instead, I felt like my face was sticky after application.1
I have VERY oily skin and I tend to sweat a LOT around the perimeter of my face due to some wonky hormonal stuff - so I never use moisturizer. I've been told by many esthiticians (sp?) that it doesn't matter how oily you are, your skin still needs the hydration. Well, this is 100% false for me. Any time I use moisturizer, even the mattifying stuff, my makeup is always like a slip and slide. Without moisturizer - I look dewy by mid-day. WITH moisturizer - it's a grease-slick.
This moisturizer felt light-weight at first, and smelled nice - but sure enough, by mid-day I was looking super oily. I'll keep it around and try it again in the winter months and see if that makes any difference, but I wouldn't buy it.
this product is just not for me. I wanted to like it and it smelled really nice. it has a pleasant citrus scent and a lovely, light texture. However, my skin is very sensitive and after putting on my skin for just an hour, I had to wash it off because my face was burning and swelling. Definite miss for me, though I'm sure others will like it.1
The texture was a bit rubbery. The smell wasn't very nice either.1
I did not like this product at all. I have super sensitive skin and it made me break out. I tried on multiple times and it made me break out every time. it does feel good and light on the skin but I could not use it.1
I'm a mosturizering snob so I love trying new lotions. I only tried this product once. The fragrance is odd. I applied it to my face and I knew right away that scent was going to annoy me during the day so I ended up washing it off.1
This moisturizer went on smooth and was very light. However, without SPF I couldn't wear it during the day. All moisturizers worn during the day need to have an SPF of 35 or more to be effective. I just don't see the point in wearing a moisturizer without SPF during the day.
Also, for acne-prone skin, I like to see a moisturizer with active ingredients such as glycolic or salicylic acid.
This would be a decent moisturizer for acne-prone skin, but only over an active treatment and only for use at night.
For a moisturizer, I found this to be much too watery. Took awhile to absorb and was somewhat sticky.1
I will try the brand for other products, but I didn't use the sample because the scent turned me off.1
I received a sample of this from my birchbox. I tried it a few times. The smell is okay and it's organic which is a plus. However, the texture is strange. It dries like a film on my face and did not soak in. Therefore it was not moisturizing.1
