Nine times out of ten, moisturizers list water as one of their main ingredients. Juice Beauty’s oil-free hydrator is a standout exception to the rule. Their active-packed formula is made with a powerful base of organic juices so that every single drop feeds your skin. Full of antioxidants, it’s great for those with oily or blemish-prone skin since the lightweight formula won’t clog pores.
This product seems great, but its is very expensive. I use a similar lotion Cera Ve that has the same texture.4
I'm from Florida and I'm all about finding moisturizers that work well with the humidity here, so I was excited to find this in my August box. In fact, it was the first thing I opened and tried. Immediately, I noticed the weird texture. It says "lightweight," but it felt very thick to me, which is NOT what I look for in moisturizers. Within seconds after applying it, I noticed the awful smell. In Florida, we have these disgusting roaches called Palmetto Bugs. They emit a god-awful smell...and that is EXACTLY what this lotion smells like to me. I have sat with it on my face for about 10 minutes because I HAD to come and write a review before I could even go wash my face...and now I can go do that!1
This is a fantastic moisturizer. If for nothing else than the lack of all the harmful chemicals most companies add to their products, I would endorse this. But add to it an honestly effective, pleasant product, and I am one happy camper! Thanks!5
I love how this moisturizer feels, but I can only really use it as a night mositurizer. Without SPF, it's totally useless as a day cream. I didn't even know moisturizer came without sun protection anymore.1
I'm very torn on whether I love this, or hate it. It makes your skin feel very tight and almost sticky. Almost like its got sugar on it, which makes sense considering its got fruit juices in it. But it makes your skin so incredibly soft and smooth that I can't stop using it. So as long as you can get over that weird feeling initially, your skin will thank you for it!4
I should not have trusted the oil-free label without first checking the ingredients thoroughly. I have an allergy to most oils, and because there are "essential oils" in this lotion, I broke out severely. I trusted this brand because of their reputation but they are not being honest about the oil free formula.
Terrible for sensitive or acne prone skin! I wanted to cry at how badly this made me break out, and the rashy reaction I had to the oils. Never, ever again, Juice Beauty.
I have been using this product (along with the serum and cleanser) for over 2 months. I have moderate acne and was hoping these products would help eliminate it, but it's mainly gotten worse. The moisturizer is pretty standard; I've used several other brands and this one wasn't much different. I would use a sunscreen moisturizer in the morning and this one at night. This product worked well but it is a bit sticky on the face so you have to wait a little bit before applying makeup.4
I loved the Juice Beauty CC cream & gave the moisturizer a shot but didn't like it at all. It is very sticky & broke my face out.1
I couldn't ask for a better oil-free moisturizer. The smell is heavenly and I am so picky! The consistency is great, light and very easy to spread. My face is moisturized with no breakouts. I like the packaging. For the price this is a steal! Great product!5
I struggle to find moisturizer that's light but still does the job, especially on frequent plane travel, but this product is great. It's the perfect thing post-toner.4
