As enamored as we are with all things BB, Benefit Cosmetics is taking us above and beyond the alphabet with their latest creation: Big Easy. Like its sisters in BB cream land, the tinted formula veils fine lines and blemishes while evening out skin tone. But this next-gen version goes even further to achieve complexion perfection. The liquid-to-powder formula glides on smoothly like a cream but dries to a shine-free finish, veiling everything from fine lines to uneven skin tone—and its velvety coverage lasts all day. Plus, your skin will have the benefit of SPF 35 protection. What's more, the formula comes in six versatile shades.
Unfortunately most people reviewed the size of their sample instead of the actual product. Le sigh.
I bought a full size in "light" and I love it. I don't care for thick, full coverage creams and so many "BB"esque creams are far too "dewy" for my combination/oily skin. This is exactly the product I was searching for. It says to put product onto moisturized skin so I used Philosophy's Clear Days Ahead BHA with moisturizer first.
Big Easy blended smoothly and evenly. I love that it sets to a super soft powdery finish. All that and SPF 35 as well. This is my new favorite and will definitely keep purchasing. If it hadn't been for that tiny yet full of potential sample from Birchbox I wouldn't have found this. Thanks Birchbox.
The sample was barely enough to match the color on your hand let alone use. I will go to Benefit directly, as they have very nice size samples and are very helpful.3
This foundation is Cake-y it doesn't blend with the skin. I am light and I feel the product was much uneven to my skin tone2
It goes on smooth, stays pretty matte (on my oily skin), moisturizes, and wears well all day. Its a great BB cream overall. I'm a medium-olive shade and i can see the deepest color may not be deep enough for me in the summer, but i really needed it more for winter as a moisturizer.5
I guess I might like it more if I hadn't fallen in love with Pur Correcting Primer. However, after using the Pur brand I have to agree with a lot of the other reviewers correct in that this product is chalky.
Oh well - that's why I love Birchbox - I can figure these things out without spending a small fortune.
I was using Urban Decay's Naked BB cream and was very excited for a Benefit BB cream but was very disappointed with this one.
Mine smells like sunscreen. Which is fine I am a sunscreen nut to begin with but a Benefit worker said it shouldn't smell that strong.
If your skin is dry in the slightest it shows. I use a lot of moisturizer and still found flaky spots when I applied this. I don't usually wear foundation or concealer so this was way too cakey for me.
I love all benefit products. The coverage is great and it does not feel heavy or thick on my face. It is the best foundation I have found so far and I have tried a lot!5
Great coverage, it's not too thick and it lets your skin breathe.4
I was very excited to try this BB but was sorely disappointed. The powder finish settles into pores and is very noticeable. It exacerbated any patches of dry skin I had making my skin look flaky and very unnatural. I had such high expectations, too! Take my advice- if you have dry skin- even small patches- stay clear of this foundation.2
I really like the texture, it's not thick or heavy, does not have an overwhelming scent, and I do believe this is a great product for the right skin. Someone with combination or normal to oily skin may find this product to be their new favorite. Even though my experience with this product has been minimal, I can see where on the right skin, it will deliver all it promises. Unfortunately, I have dry skin and I find that any liquid to powder formula does not work well with dry skin.4
