As enamored as we are with all things BB, Benefit Cosmetics is taking us above and beyond the alphabet with their latest creation: Big Easy. Like its sisters in BB cream land, the tinted formula veils fine lines and blemishes while evening out skin tone. But this next-gen version goes even further to achieve complexion perfection. The liquid-to-powder formula glides on smoothly like a cream but dries to a shine-free finish, veiling everything from fine lines to uneven skin toneand its velvety coverage lasts all day. Plus, your skin will have the benefit of SPF 35 protection. What's more, the formula comes in six versatile shades.
Unfortunately most people reviewed the size of their sample instead of the actual product. Le sigh.
I bought a full size in "light" and I love it. I don't care for thick, full coverage creams and so many "BB"esque creams are far too "dewy" for my combination/oily skin. This is exactly the product I was searching for. It says to put product onto moisturized skin so I used Philosophy's Clear Days Ahead BHA with moisturizer first.
Big Easy blended smoothly and evenly. I love that it sets to a super soft powdery finish. All that and SPF 35 as well. This is my new favorite and will definitely keep purchasing. If it hadn't been for that tiny yet full of potential sample from Birchbox I wouldn't have found this. Thanks Birchbox.
I'm kind of neutral on this product. Sample was not enough to use recommended amount. In my opinion, it doesn't really cover redness on my cheeks3
Pros: Stays matte all day, has SPF, blends easily
Cons: Little to no coverage, not very moisturizing, accentuates dry patches of skin
The color seemed a little light at first, but eventually darkened to the correct shade with wear. It has the consistency of a thick BB cream, but didn't do much to cover light freckles.
There was barely enough in the sample for me to be able to give an accurate review. I THINK this product is everything I think it is and more. I had barely enough to cover my whole face and certainly not with a good layer or to go back over trouble spots. I think based on Benefits rep and other products I have all tried and loved, I would buy it. But definitely not based on this pea sized sample.3
The sample did not even give me enough to cover my whole face so I don't think I got the full effect. It worked fine with concealer underneath. Great for every day light wear, this product is not for someone who wants heavy coverage. I don't know if I would buy this.3
I thought this project was great! I really want to buy it but it seems very expensive. The sample size was lest than satisfactory.4
Didn't make my skin feel great and definitely wasn't moisturizing. Color match wasn't a problem. Liked the amount of spf coverage. Sample size was so small that I really can't say I have any real ability to rate performance.1
If you have oily skin, this product would be great as it dries matte with a powder finish. But I found it very drying and seemed to settle and accentuate any fine lines and wrinkles. Didn't work for me.3
It is a nice finish for most of my face, but is very trying in other places. I like it overall, but definitely without primer.4
I have combination skin, and bought this BB cream hoping it would be mattifying enough for my oily t-zone, and silky enough for the rest of my face. I find that blending this product is difficult on the run, with just a basic finger blend. For me, to blend it in right I need to use a brush. At that point, I might as well use a quality foundation. Once blended it does the job, but definitely not one of my favorite BB creams.3
