Benefit Big Easy

As enamored as we are with all things BB, Benefit Cosmetics is taking us above and beyond the alphabet with their latest creation: Big Easy. Like its sisters in BB cream land, the tinted formula veils fine lines and blemishes while evening out skin tone. But this next-gen version goes even further to achieve complexion perfection. The liquid-to-powder formula glides on smoothly like a cream but dries to a shine-free finish, veiling everything from fine lines to uneven skin tone—and its velvety coverage lasts all day. Plus, your skin will have the benefit of SPF 35 protection. What's more, the formula comes in six versatile shades.

Drying but nice

It is a nice finish for most of my face, but is very trying in other places. I like it overall, but definitely without primer.

A little disappointed with how it blends

I have combination skin, and bought this BB cream hoping it would be mattifying enough for my oily t-zone, and silky enough for the rest of my face. I find that blending this product is difficult on the run, with just a basic finger blend. For me, to blend it in right I need to use a brush. At that point, I might as well use a quality foundation. Once blended it does the job, but definitely not one of my favorite BB creams.

The color was very off and it made me break out really badly.

Not a must

I was quite suprised when I went to purchase because the shade range is very small. I am I guess considered tan and I used the darkest shade and it was too light by a few shades! It was "sold" to me as a foundation that was mattifying. Not at all. I was shiny after maybe an hour at most. Not something I'd recommend at all.

Amazing

I love, love, love this product! I bought it before going to see my fiance in New Orleans during this past summer and it held up so well! It evened out my skin tone and it did dry to sort of a matt finish. Now I don't have a lot of skin problems so I can't attest to how well it does on dry or oily skin but I am on my second tube of this stuff and it's just perfect for those days when you want coverage but don't have the time nor the inclination to go through the whole canceler, foundation, powder routine. I definitely recommend this.

a little heavy for me
SampledPurchased

This is a full converage base, and stays on nicely, but is a little heavier than what I normally wear. That said, it goes on and stays on nicely, and didnt react with my very sensitive skin.

Cake

This foundation is Cake-y it doesn't blend with the skin. I am light and I feel the product was much uneven to my skin tone

Love this!

It goes on smooth, stays pretty matte (on my oily skin), moisturizes, and wears well all day. Its a great BB cream overall. I'm a medium-olive shade and i can see the deepest color may not be deep enough for me in the summer, but i really needed it more for winter as a moisturizer.

Eh

I guess I might like it more if I hadn't fallen in love with Pur Correcting Primer. However, after using the Pur brand I have to agree with a lot of the other reviewers correct in that this product is chalky.
Oh well - that's why I love Birchbox - I can figure these things out without spending a small fortune.

Cakey

I was using Urban Decay's Naked BB cream and was very excited for a Benefit BB cream but was very disappointed with this one.
Mine smells like sunscreen. Which is fine I am a sunscreen nut to begin with but a Benefit worker said it shouldn't smell that strong.
If your skin is dry in the slightest it shows. I use a lot of moisturizer and still found flaky spots when I applied this. I don't usually wear foundation or concealer so this was way too cakey for me.
