As enamored as we are with all things BB, Benefit Cosmetics is taking us above and beyond the alphabet with their latest creation: Big Easy. Like its sisters in BB cream land, the tinted formula veils fine lines and blemishes while evening out skin tone. But this next-gen version goes even further to achieve complexion perfection. The liquid-to-powder formula glides on smoothly like a cream but dries to a shine-free finish, veiling everything from fine lines to uneven skin toneand its velvety coverage lasts all day. Plus, your skin will have the benefit of SPF 35 protection. What's more, the formula comes in six versatile shades.
It felt nice going on, soft and smooth. But it did nothing to cover blemishes or even out skin tone. Sample was also so small...2
I can honestly say that I try to give Benefit products the benefit (ha) of the doubt when I first try them. I try not to let the fact that of all of the many Benefit products I've tried, I have liked exactly ONE, affect my assessment of the new product.
I can't say this was the worst BB I've ever tried, but it's far from the best. The sample they sent me was so very small, I didn't have enough to cover my entire face, so I could have made a better assessment. Coverage seems average for a BB cream. The color was actually very good for me. But the killer was how poorly it dealt with dry skin. I had dry patch on my nose. I didn't notice that it was there until I applied this BB. It emphasizes dry skin SO badly, it compares to the most mattifying foundation I've ever tried. It was ridiculous.
I liked how light this product was, and it seemed to moisturize well, but I had a hard time telling a real difference in my skin. It didn't go quite far enough in coverage (although I really do like a light/natural cover)....I think I'll stick to my bb cream, since it's been working well for me!!3
It did nothing for coverage, and in fact seemed to emphasis a few dry patches on my skin. The shade matched but it just didn't work for me.1
shade matched my skin perfectly. would probably buy this5
Full coverage with out looking too makeupy! Natural look4
I wanted to like it...Benefit is one of my go-to cosmetic brands!! I love, love, love them!! But not this product...maybe the coverage is buildable but with the measly sample I received, who knows. There was barely enough to cover my face. I like Benefit but they missed the mark with this one.3
I don't really see the use of this, there are other products that work better and are cheaper. Good idea, but doesn't work out very well.2
Benefit and Birchbox, you guys have gotta get your act together on sample sizes for foundations. How on EARTH are we supposed to get a good sense of how a foundation gels with our skin's chemistry and tone if all you give us is a tiny little drop? Ridiculous! I can't tell if this foundation matches my skin properly because I have inconsistent color all over my face and for me to invest in a foundation I gotta know that it works EVERYWHERE, not just on the itty bitty patch of skin your sample sort of covered. No bueno.3
I received tis in my February box. I really appreciated the hydrating effect, but not ready to shell out the money for the full size product.5
