As enamored as we are with all things BB, Benefit Cosmetics is taking us above and beyond the alphabet with their latest creation: Big Easy. Like its sisters in BB cream land, the tinted formula veils fine lines and blemishes while evening out skin tone. But this next-gen version goes even further to achieve complexion perfection. The liquid-to-powder formula glides on smoothly like a cream but dries to a shine-free finish, veiling everything from fine lines to uneven skin toneand its velvety coverage lasts all day. Plus, your skin will have the benefit of SPF 35 protection. What's more, the formula comes in six versatile shades.
I was very excited to try this BB but was sorely disappointed. The powder finish settles into pores and is very noticeable. It exacerbated any patches of dry skin I had making my skin look flaky and very unnatural. I had such high expectations, too! Take my advice- if you have dry skin- even small patches- stay clear of this foundation.2
I really like the texture, it's not thick or heavy, does not have an overwhelming scent, and I do believe this is a great product for the right skin. Someone with combination or normal to oily skin may find this product to be their new favorite. Even though my experience with this product has been minimal, I can see where on the right skin, it will deliver all it promises. Unfortunately, I have dry skin and I find that any liquid to powder formula does not work well with dry skin.4
I have oily skin and this works great for me. It blends easily with a foundation brush, and I don't need that much to get good coverage. I like the velvety texture after it is applied. Not too greasy.5
I actually love every other Benefit product I own so I bought the full size without sampling first. I will NEVER EVER do that again. $40 down the drain. Not only did it blend like chalk but that is exactly what it looked like on my face. ORANGE CHALK. I blend very well & like MOST BB creams but this was awful. It actually highlighted every flaw which I is obviously OPPOSITE the point of it to begin with.
Thank you for teaching me a very expensive lesson to never try any type of foundation, bb, or cc cream without a sample first!
I'm definitely not a fan of benefit face products. I fund them oily and irritating. I got dry spots and breakouts from this formula.2
This is my new go to BB cream to use when my regimen needs to be quick. I love the fuller coverage and the fact it has a higher SPF then a lot of creams. My only complaint is it is a bit dry and I usually need to use a light moisturizer first.4
This product looked awful and scaly on my face and actually highlighted every flaw which I obviously didn't enjoy. I did give it to a friend who has more oily skin and she seems to like it. This should probably be mentioned in the product description.1
I wanted to love this! Everyone else seems to, but I guess this product just didn't mesh with my skin chemistry. I applied it before work, noticing that it wasn't blending into my skin easily; the product felt good but the pigment was chalky. I blended the ever-loving spit out of it, finally getting even coverage. I always check my makeup application in natural and harsh lighting, but despite doing so with BigEasy, it had oxidized by the time I got to work. My face/neck looked like they'd been baptized in the River Orange, and I actually used hand soap to go makeup-free for the rest of the day. The full tube went straight into the bin when I got home. Why have you forsaken me, Benefit!?1
Lightweight, smooth, and great coverage! You only need a little bit, and it is easy to build for more coverage. My skin looked and felt velvety smooth!5
I received a sample of this in my birchbox a little while ago and loved using it. Great coverage, and like the description says, it goes on smoothly but then dries to a matte powdery finish.4
