As enamored as we are with all things BB, Benefit Cosmetics is taking us above and beyond the alphabet with their latest creation: Big Easy. Like its sisters in BB cream land, the tinted formula veils fine lines and blemishes while evening out skin tone. But this next-gen version goes even further to achieve complexion perfection. The liquid-to-powder formula glides on smoothly like a cream but dries to a shine-free finish, veiling everything from fine lines to uneven skin toneand its velvety coverage lasts all day. Plus, your skin will have the benefit of SPF 35 protection. What's more, the formula comes in six versatile shades.
I wanted to love this! Everyone else seems to, but I guess this product just didn't mesh with my skin chemistry. I applied it before work, noticing that it wasn't blending into my skin easily; the product felt good but the pigment was chalky. I blended the ever-loving spit out of it, finally getting even coverage. I always check my makeup application in natural and harsh lighting, but despite doing so with BigEasy, it had oxidized by the time I got to work. My face/neck looked like they'd been baptized in the River Orange, and I actually used hand soap to go makeup-free for the rest of the day. The full tube went straight into the bin when I got home. Why have you forsaken me, Benefit!?1
Lightweight, smooth, and great coverage! You only need a little bit, and it is easy to build for more coverage. My skin looked and felt velvety smooth!5
I received a sample of this in my birchbox a little while ago and loved using it. Great coverage, and like the description says, it goes on smoothly but then dries to a matte powdery finish.4
I like this product though I find it a little too much for every day. It is a good foundation at night when going out but i usually opt for less coverage during the day. Covers very well does a good job of evening skin tone. Not drying...doesn't settle in fine lines.4
I am a crazy person about my skincare (and I have dry skin to boot, so that doesn't make it any easier), but I still like a foundation with medium coverage. This stuff definitely does the job of covering imperfections and evening out your skintone, however, I found that it just felt heavy on my skin. I don't use too many BBs, though, so maybe this is just a BB wide problem, but I felt like it weighed my face down.3
I've been using Benefit's Big Easy for 6 months as my exclusive found foundation. I find the quality is fantastic and it has better coverage than pretty much all of the BB creams I have tried. Try it! You'll be happy!4
Not too crazy about the coverage. I'm someone who doesn't need full coverage, but I didn't feel like this covered at all. The texture wasn't dewey but it made my skin oily.5
I have this in "fair" and I think it's a great summer foundation. Its got sunscreen and it does smell a bit like sunscreen but in the summer its not out of place. Its a light-medium coverage foundation and it does work pretty well.4
This is light yet provides great coverage. It blends well and matches to your skin tone. My face is usually oily by the end of the day but I noticed a huge difference with this product! It also lasts throughout the day and keeps my make up looking fresh. The best part... between my birchbox points and a 20% off coupon and free shipping I got this product for $10!!!!5
I've used all different types of BB and CC creams. Though the sample size was little to be desired, I finally decided to bite the bullet and just buy the full version. I'm glad I did. This stuff is great! I'm a RN and work 12 hour nights. This BB cream lasts all night long and doesn't become oily/shiny or fall into fine lines. It has a soft powder-matte finish that you can build on for more coverage if you want it. I'm a working mom with little time for a beauty routine and this just made it 50x easier. Bye bye Clinique, hello Benefit BIg Easy!5
