It’s a vicious cycle: you treat your zits with over-the-counter acne products, only to watch new ones pop up in their place. Break out of your old routine with this organic pimple-zapping kit. Juice Beauty’s four star products work together to heal breakouts while hydrating your skin. Each set includes a month’s worth of products—plenty of time to watch your skin clear up. Most conventional acne products work by drying your skin with harsh chemicals such as benzyl peroxide, alcohol, parabens, petroleum, and artificial dyes and fragrances, which can actually lead to excess oil production over time. Not so with Juice Beauty’s organic line. The Blemish Clearing Cleanser brightens skin tone, while the powerful matching Serum fades scarring and purifies pores. The Oil-Free Moisturizer is a light, luscious hydrator perfect for problem-prone skin, while the Green Apple Peel Sensitive exfoliates and evens discoloration. All Juice Beauty products are made with a potent base of organic juices, which means they contain higher concentrations of antioxidants and nutrients than conventional products.
Overall, I've liked using this skin care system. My skin seems to be responding well, but it's a slow process. My only real complaints are:
-The face wash doesn't get eye make-up off, which is a huge bummer for me. That's one of my main reasons for washing my face
-The moisturizer feels kind of sticky after you put it on. I've gotten used to it now, but it's kind of annoying.
I started using this set a couple months ago, and my skin is so happy! All of the products in this set are wonderful, ESPECIALLY the serum. I used it religiously and ran out. I could definitely tell a difference between when I was using it and when I wasn't. All wonderful products, definitely worth it!5
I am 30 with oily/dry skin. I've been fighting blemishes & acne (mostly blackheads) most of my life. I have never! had as many pimples as I have in the short time I've been using this product. It's the moisturizer and possibly the serum. The wash is actually pretty great and the bamboo washcloth is worth the money alone. The wash clears away all the oil and grime without leaving my skin feeling dry. The serum feels like rubbing syrup on your face. And the moisturizer feels rubbing in hair gel. So, the wash and the cloth are a good buy, but the entire kit is not.2
Followed the instructions included in the package and the combination of the layers of products made my face so sticky I had to wash it off.2
Makes my skin feel great and look smooth and nice. Still getting the breakouts the same. Overall pretty good product.4
I tried this product on a whim because I was looking for an ingredient conscious acne treatment. This goes above and beyond treating my acne but also with time improved the appearance of my acne scars and overall complexion. I would definitely buy again.5
I have really oily skin and have frequent breakouts. I am always on the lookout for a product that will clean and hydrate without leaving my skin greasy or over dry. I was really hopeful for the blemish clearing peel. There were no instructions in the kit so I had to look on YouTube. It's more of a scrub than a peel and had little effect either way on my skin. I will say that I have used the facial scrub daily and after a month I have been almost blemish free. I do wish the facial soap had a better sent - was hoping for apple - but like most organics it doesn't have a sent added. In the future I will opt to purchase separately and pass on the kit.3
I was really excited for these products since I always go for the natural, organic alternative, but they barely helped. They didn't make my bumps and pimples worse, but they did little to nothing to help them vanish. I'd love to say they worked, but, sadly, they didn't. For reference, I live in Puerto Rico, where the weather is humid and hot, my skin is normal to oily, and I used the product after waking up and before going to bed.1
I tried this kit for about 3 weeks. When I began using this, I had a couple of trouble pimples. Steadily my skin got worse and worse, but I went ahead and gave it time thinking that it was just getting rid of what I already had beneath the surface and that it would get better. Boy was I wrong! It is over a month later and I am still trying to get my skin cleared up from that fiasco. Luckily I switched to something else before there was any real permanent misfortune.1
I am older (Almost 40) and have dealt with breakouts from about the time I turned 30, from what I can only assume is due to hormonal changes from getting older. So, I in no way expected any sort of miracle from these products. But unfortunately, I don't have anything positive to say about any of the items you get in this kit, other than the bamboo washcloth. The products just didn't improve my skin situation at all. In fact, it has made things worse. I am even breaking out on parts of my face that I never did in the past. Other than the lack of efficacy, the products themselves are just not awesome. The face wash is very runny, but I guess okay for just a basic wash. The blemish clearing serum is almost like water, and in this tube with an opening that is too big. If you're not careful, it will just pour right out. Also, when it is closed, the serum just pools in the top of the tube. The moisturizer is very thick, and sticky. It is hard to work in, and seems to just sit on top of your skin. It also leaves your face sticky to the touch for a long while. You also get this sample size green apple face peel that some people seem to really like, and claim that is produces improved skin results right away. I did not have that experience. As a matter of fact, absolutely nothing happened. There wasn't even the slightest effect. Good or bad. I've done the month, and from what I have read, Juice Beauty says that results can take longer than that to see for some people. And I get that. But seeing how it has made things worse, for me to continue to use these products, would be the equivalent of just setting money on fire.1
