Our friends say we have a lip balm addiction (we've got 'em in our jacket pocket, glove compartment, and on our bedside table, to name a few places), but we like to think we're just prepared. We'll be stashing one of each of these lip balms in said locales, including prime purse real estate—they're packed with moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, and as a bonus, each is infused with one of five pretty hues, ranging from a flattering nude to a bright raspberry.
So, I really like the texture/ smoothness of this lip balm. The color was a little out of my comfort zone. Coral is not my color. :) I would be willing to try it in a different shade, however.3
Received the "Coral Crush" shade which was too bright and harsh for usual lip balm wear. Took to lining my lips first then using it as the internal color, causing the same amount of application work as a lip stick.
Was then good for a light wash of color with complimenting shades in my wardrobe. Full-sized sample lasted quite a while as well. Would consider purchasing in a shade more flattering to my skin tone.
I like the product but I think it's a little darker than what it looks like in the picture. Great size!2
Subtle but nice scent, very soft and moisturizing. Leaves just enough color, not too much.5
I got this in Ripe Raspberry, and the color is *perfect*. That perfect me PLUS color, you know?
Anyway, this is a lovely lip balm. It's not stick, and at first it feels like using a crayon on your lips-- rather hard, and you're not sure that it's leaving anything behind. But the balm has a lovely hydrating feel, and is very long lasting.
The color is somewhat sheer, but not as sheer as I normally expect from a colored lip balm. There is a very slight shine, but about normal for a lip balm.
My one concern with this is that it tends to wander, like lip balms do, and the color is opaque enough to make that look funny. I'm half tempted to try it with a lip liner, but that seems somewhat silly for a lip balm? IDK, you might find this less annoying than me. :)
Overall, a lovely lip balm, and I use it *all the time*-- but with careful application and a lot of mirror checkups.
Great purchase! I love the coral color. It goes wonderfully with my skin tone. It feels great as well. Very satisfied.5
I don't love the color that I got - too pink - but I wear it anyway because it's so moisturizing and smells great. It also goes on really smooth so it looks good.5
I have always liked Pixi by Petra products. And birchbox offers these to their subscribers. Definitely a must for anyone to try.5
Great for those who want something more than a balm, but less then a full blown lipstick. It's my go to shade!5
I purchased this shade in natural rose, and it is very true to its name! At first, I was hesitant to buy this online because I am looking for a natural lip color for everyday, but I am confident I made the right choice. The shade is well pigmented, so it can get a little cakey-looking if I put on too much. Overall, it's a great natural shade when applied lightly.4
