Our friends say we have a lip balm addiction (we've got 'em in our jacket pocket, glove compartment, and on our bedside table, to name a few places), but we like to think we're just prepared. We'll be stashing one of each of these lip balms in said locales, including prime purse real estate—they're packed with moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, and as a bonus, each is infused with one of five pretty hues.
It has a soft feel and light tint. I like to use it when I want some color on my lips.3
I got this product about two years ago. I still love it and keep it in my purse. My daughter even love it. It gives enough color to use instead of a lipstick and moisturizes like a lip gloss.5
Coral Crush was not the color for me, it reminded me of a color in the 50's, however loved everything else about it, so I will try it in color Natural Rose, price is great, it doesn't stay on long, but it does feel moisturizing.4
I have been a Burt's Bees girl for years, but I have never been completely enamored with their tinted lip balm. I took a change and tried this one in the Honey Nectar. What can I say? It's amazing. It smells delicious but doesn't have an overpowering taste. Glides on smooth and the color is just enough without being too lipsticky and it's not too glossy. It softened up my perpetually dry, flaky lips in no time. I need to buy more shades.5
A few of us all got this in our birch box and all agreed that it was great. Leaves lips soft with a touch of color, fades evenly and doesn't goop up with multiple applications.5
After reading the reviews for this product, I just HAD to try it! I received it, applied it and was excited to see the Pixi Pink color was actually a different shade of pink, one like I've never worn before (it almost has subtle purplish undertones rather than pink and orangey pink colors). The formula is smooth and nice feeling, the pigment was a bit more than I expected but still nice. After about half hour without eating or drinking, it had already worn off though. Not long-lasting but an ok product nonetheless.3
I received a sample of coral crush a while back - probably one of my favorite lip products received from Birchbox. My lips are often very dry, so I often have to choose between using a medicated type of balm, or using a lipstick. This butter balm by Pixi is great because it is very hydrating and the color was gorgeous (I love coral lips!) Have bought again and will probably pick the coral shade up again for this Summer.5
It's great for winter or a low key day. It has a great texture, and I love the subtle "better than bare lips" tint. It is constantly in my chapstick/balm rotation.5
I got Pixi lip balm in Ripe Raspberry. I apply it lightly on my lips add a little color and moisturize them. It works perfectly. I don't wear a lot of make up on a daily basis but I like to add a small tint to my lips. It's like a lip stain and lip balm in one product, and that's why it pretty much lives in my purse.5
As a lip product addict, I have pretty high standards. My lips get really dry very easily, so lipstick and anything that dries matte typically doesn't work for me. I rock a pretty low maintenance look, and these are truly the best. I got one as a sample in my box a year or so ago, and I've bought more since then and restocked. I keep the rose colored one in my purse for daily use (and actually use it every single day), but also have the raspberry & coral ones that I love. The pigment on these is surprisingly great - it's not as sheer as typical tinted lip balms. Plus it is SO moisturizing which is fantastic for my constantly chapped lips. A+5
