“Eco-friendly” and “spa-grade” don’t typically go hand-in-hand, but this luxe body lotion from Gilchrist & Soames manages to be both. A longtime supplier of some of the world’s most exclusive hotels, resorts, and spas, the London-born brand is dedicated to creating high-quality products while minimizing its environmental footprint. Infused with natural emollients like glycerin and honey, this fast-absorbing formula instantly hydrates parched skin anywhere on the body. What’s more, it’s free of potentially irritating ingredients and leaves behind a light, crisp scent.
I wasn't very excited about this product from the get-go. It looks, and smells, just like those sample lotions you get in a hotel room. A good word to describe this product is "meh."1
This body lotion is fantastic! I threw this little trial size in my purse after I got my box this month, and reached for it several times while braving these subzero Midwest temps. I absolutely LOVED it. Light scent, lightweight and fast-absorbing, my hands feel and look moisturized and a little goes a LONG way. My boyfriend even used it and was happy with the scent and result.
I might not wait to accumulate more points and buy the full-size for $16- a steal for how great this was. Enjoy!
This lotion is perfect for someone who wants a fresh, clean smell with no grease or residue! It goes on smoothly and feel like you're living in luxury (it is popular in hotels!) Leaves skin super smooth and soft!5
I first tried this lotion in a hotel. I have purchased this lotion ever since. The scent is light and refreshing and it moisturizes nicely.5
I liked the fresh scent, but no matter how much I used, it didn't seem to actually moisturize my skin, and it didn't absorb super quickly.2
This was a pretty fragrance. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin. It is a very liquidy formula that absorbs quickly but wasn't ultra hydrating3
I wasn't a fan of this. Like many reviewers have already stated, it reminded me of the free lotions that you can find in hotel bathrooms. The smell was ok, the lotion was a bit on the watery side and seemed to only moisturize on the surface level.2
This lotion has a wonderful scent, like the ones you get in hotels. Left my skin feeling very soft, with a clean fresh smell.4
In the world of lotions, there's a lot of comparison, and this one is just ok. Don't get me wrong, it was moisturizing, and felt nice when you put it on, but it took forever to dry and I felt like the lotion never really absorbed into my skin3
I feel it's like another lotion that you find in another hotel. Not my favorite and just okay for me.4
