This singular shampoo proves that style and substance aren't mutually exclusive. The sleek packaging and fresh scent are a nod to Parisian flair, while the scientific formula is designed to turn fine, flat strands into rich, full-bodied hair. (No strings attached.)
This shampoo is worth every penny! It is amazing in every way. It lathers right up and smells delicious. After using it, my hair felt luxurious. It completely surpasses it's reputation. My hair not only had volume, but a soft texture and I could swear it helped strengthen as well. Simply put, it just makes you feel beautiful.5
I love this shampoo. I can't tell too much if it volumizes, but it cleans my hair really well and has a great floral scent.5
I have fine curly hair, and not only does it smell amazing, it makes my hair look SO SEXY. I can wash it at night and let it air dry to beautifulness! Just can't say enough good things! The price is SO SO SO worth it!5
I used to always think it was a waste to spend tons of money on shampoo and conditioner when there are $0.75 bottle of VO5 out there. But when I sampled this a few years ago from my Birchbox, I could REALLY tell the difference. Compared to using creamy Pantene, when using this natural gel-like shampoo (any Number 4 shampoo) my hair feels nongreasy, cleaner, fresher, and softer throughout the day. I always try to get a deal because this is expensive, but if you are trying to find a difference in shampoos, this one definitely takes the cake. Definitely if I indulge myself, I would buy Number 4 products. Definitely my favorite and I'm obsessed.5
I received the clarifying shampoo as a sample and loved it so much I bought the full size. While I like it, it's a little too clarifying to use every day, so I thought I'd try this volumizing option and switch back and forth. I DO like the way the volumizing shampoo makes my hair feel, and it lends some additional volume to my long-ish (a couple inches below my shoulders), wavy hair, but I like the scent of the clarifying shampoo better. Either way, both are good products, I just wish the scent was the same!4
I got this as a sample in my April box and I really enjoyed the scent first off. I love that you don't need much to get a nice, big lather. I workout every day so I wash my hair constantly. I have thin, straight hair and felt it did give me some added volume. I would have loved to try the conditioner along side it to see what it would have done further.5
I received this product in my April box and was excited to try it out. I have pretty thin hair, my ponytail is only a quarter size, but I also have pretty long hair. I can use all of the help I can to get my hair to be anything but flat. This product did an ok job and was a nice base to start with. However, it did leave my ends relatively dry and I had to use more oil to keep it moisturized. I personally wouldn't purchase this product for daily use.2
Maybe it's me, but I really didn't like the texture or smell of this product. I also had trouble getting it to lather.3
This shampoo smelled nice and lathered great! Cleaned my hair well. However, I didn't notice much if any difference as far as "volumizing."3
I wasn't a huge fan of the other products I had received from Number 4, mainly because of the scent but this shampoo did what it said it would do, added volume! Plus I like that it's sulfate-free!3
