At the end of a long day we could all use a fresh start—the same goes for our hair. When product buildup and styling stress leave your locks feeling dull, use Number 4™ Clarifying Shampoo, subtly scented with white freesia, golden amber, and warm musk, to gently cleanse without stripping moisture or color.
I liked the fact that the shampoo didn't lather, but it did make it difficult to get enough product into my hair. Afterwords, my hair felt a little more dry than usual, especially since my hair is naturally frizzy3
This shampoo was absolutely terrible for my hair. I have color treated curly hair and I felt like this shampoo did more damage than good. Once I washed it out of my hair I still felt like my hair was dirty. It also left me feeling like my hair was very dry.1
This is the third sample I have received of this line. This particular one you can use as shampoo or as an all over body wash. Nice plus.
While it seems to work pretty well and not over dry or strip your hair, I cannot get past the chemical like smell. The scent seems to be consistent throughout their line which is too bad as it limits me reaching for the product.
I was not a fan of this shampoo. It didn't lather enough for me to distribute through my hair. It also seemed to dry my hair out..2
I like the fact that this shampoo is organic and super concentrated. A little goes a long way. I will say though, with my mother being a hair dresser, shampoos and conditioners usually cease to impress me because I'm a die-hard fan of some other professional products. This isn't a bad shampoo. If you feel strongly about using something very natural, this could be for you. I wasn't overly impressed by the clarifying but it wasn't bad!3
I reviewed the Number 4 Reconstructing masque, and I had nothing but praises to lob at it. I would simply be repeating myself at this point. But, I'm going to anyways because I love this stuff. I have dry, color treated hair. So, I know my hair products. The smell is soft and subtle. Application was what you would expect from a sulfate free shampoo. You don't need bubbles, to know that a shampoo is working. My hair was soft and shiny and cleeeean! I have bangs and I stagger my hair cleaning routine with every other day just washing my bangs. I used this product for that purpose and it was amazing.5
This shampoo smells great, really cleans residue from hair and you don't have to use much but my hair is naturally dry and I only wash my hair about once every five days with limited hair product buildup so I didn't find this product worth the price for me4
This was a very good, rich shampoo, and I really enjoyed using the sample I received. It also has a very good scent, and the sample contained quite a few uses.5
I used to work receptionist at salons n spas and when I hear clarifying, it means to strip off gunk and the moisture from the hair. I didn't try this for the longest time in fear that I would strip off my hair. But when I did, it made my hair clean from products and not stripped of its nutrients. I would call this Clean and replenish or Rewind, or something like that... Not clarifying. Great shampoo!5
This shampoo clears the residue of about 1000 products out of my hair without making it feel dry. It smells great, and a little truly does go along way. I have lower back length with moderate thickness and I use about a quarter and just take the time to work it through my whole head.5
