Getting a natural finish from our full-coverage foundation has always seemed like an elusive quest. Thats why we love the beautyblender®, which ensures smooth, even coverage every time. You won't be surprised to learn that its a favorite of pro makeup artists everywhere. Unlike traditional sponges, the soft texture and elliptical shape of the beautyblender® allows foundation to blend into skin with a natural finish and no streaks. When saturated with water, the sponge will expand to twice its size, making it easy to cover your whole face and still get into all the nooks and crannies. Plus, using the sponge damp prevents it from absorbing excess foundation, so you won't be wasting any makeup. This duo pack includes two hot pink sponges: keep one as a spare, or use both with differing shades of foundation for contouring effects.
Its the size of a Jordan almond and really I'm not that into it. Shocker.1
When I washed the sponge, the hot pink dye bled all over the sink so it's probably blending into my face. no thank you.1
This product worked well when I first used it, but then once I rinsed it out with the soap it came with, the hot pink dye drained out all over my sink and the next time I used it, pink dye was all over my skin. Will not be using this again.1
I really liked this product the first time I used it but I felt like I could never get it clean after that and it always had a weird smell,1
never would i have thought that applying my foundation with sponge would make such a difference. i was wrong....really wrong. this makes a difference like day and night. smoother, more even, flawless.....that's how it makes me look. you gotta try it to believe it.1
The first month I had these, I would have told you they were nice sponges. They smoothed the makeup well, had a nice texture when wet. About a month in, the texture seemed to get less effective, and then the unbelievable happened - the sponge developed little black dots....mold. Despite the fact that I took immaculate care of these sponges, following all the care instructions, and they were reported to last for months and months with no problem, there were those insidious little spots, ruining the bright pink of the sponge.
As an avid buyer of beauty products, I expect such an expensive sponge to stand up to MORE than a normal sponge, not to fail out a month into its life. If this is what make up artists are using for their makeup application, they are spending an extraordinary amount of money on something I can get comparable application from at a quarter of the price. It is inexcusable for a product to be this overpriced and have quality this poor. There is absolutely no reason to buy this, when there are dozens of sponges that will do an admirable and equal job.
It was not as see less as they make you believe. Did not feel like the coverage left was a good enough foundation. Used a lot of concealer to make up from lack of cover.1
I had seen this in previous boxes for other BB members and heard great things about it, so I was excited when it was in my October box. But, I found it's just another sponge; the pink color bleeds/rinses out of it when you clean it; and it absorbs too much of the product so you end up wasting more than if you'd used your fingers or a brush.1
A peep shaped and colors sponge to apply make up? I can buy these things at walmart for $2 for a pack of like 30. Not a fan.1
Not convinced this works any better than the sponges at the dollar store. Just an overpriced sponge. Save the money and buy better foundation.
