Getting a natural finish from our full-coverage foundation has always seemed like an elusive quest. Thats why we love the beautyblender®, which ensures smooth, even coverage every time. You won't be surprised to learn that its a favorite of pro makeup artists everywhere. Unlike traditional sponges, the soft texture and elliptical shape of the beautyblender® allows foundation to blend into skin with a natural finish and no streaks. When saturated with water, the sponge will expand to twice its size, making it easy to cover your whole face and still get into all the nooks and crannies. Plus, using the sponge damp prevents it from absorbing excess foundation, so you won't be wasting any makeup. This duo pack includes two hot pink sponges: keep one as a spare, or use both with differing shades of foundation for contouring effects.
It flaked and fell apart when I tried to use it, overall not satisfied. I would not buy this product.2
This product was weird and I couldn't find a good use for it. I do not wear foundation, so this was just something that went in the garbage. Maybe if I did wear foundation it would be nice.2
I wasn't into these. You have to clean them every day and I felt like they soaked up too much product. I really find that a stipple brush works the best for liquid foundation - these are so expensive and for me, the result wasn't that great.2
I don't like the step of wetting it. However. It's wonderful for foundation. I don't care for using it with concealer but like it with foundation. It gives a smooth look.2
I'm used to using disposable blending sponges, flat or rounded sponges are a better tool for blending for me. I have too younger 20ish daughters and the both like this product2
well as for sponges it works just about the same..
its hard to get the foundation out of it, even with the soap...
I couldn't really tell a big difference between using this and using my fingers. Using it and cleaning it seems like a waste of time to me.2
It's pretty much an overpriced makeup sponge. It works fine but not any better than the disposable ones I get at the big box stores. I don't know if it was my foundation or the sponge but even using the soap included, I couldn't get it all off.2
I liked the idea of this product, but after using it I wasn't impressed. I used my Benefit BB cream and while it did a good job of applying it, I think I'd rather just use my finger tips. When I tried to clean out the blender, the florescent pink color ran all over my hands and stained my vanity- not happy with that!
I use my fingers to blend my moisturizers and bb creams so this isn't something I would typically use; but it would be a nice addition to someone who needs foundation. I was also confused my the cleaner at the bottom. It seems gimmicky. Sponges should just be throwaways.2
