Getting a natural finish from our full-coverage foundation has always seemed like an elusive quest. Thats why we love the beautyblender®, which ensures smooth, even coverage every time. You won't be surprised to learn that its a favorite of pro makeup artists everywhere. Unlike traditional sponges, the soft texture and elliptical shape of the beautyblender® allows foundation to blend into skin with a natural finish and no streaks. When saturated with water, the sponge will expand to twice its size, making it easy to cover your whole face and still get into all the nooks and crannies. Plus, using the sponge damp prevents it from absorbing excess foundation, so you won't be wasting any makeup. This duo pack includes two hot pink sponges: keep one as a spare, or use both with differing shades of foundation for contouring effects.
I expected miracles with all the hype that comes with beauty blender and was so excited to finally try it. But it was very average. Can't say it was easy to use or clean, I would skip on this unless you are a pro at contour3
The shape is helpful but I'm not sure this isn't something that can't be accomplished by makeup pads from the drugstore.3
It made my foundation look cakey on my skin and it never did that before. .... When I washed it after one use it caused discoloration. And noit wasn't the foundation or soap. It was pink like the sponge. It stains easily and doesn't wash out. I don't think it made a dramatic differeceived for me. ...3
I don't use these very often. I was surprised I received it. It was nice the first couple times I used it. After that it became kindof a hassle.3
This will work great for our art projects! Lol. But not for me. I use powder foundation so I haven't found this to be very helpful for application.3
I'm not much of one to use anything besides my fingers to apply foundation. I did enjoy this the few times I have used it though. I will continue to use it from
Time to time but will not purchase. :)
I like this tool, but I wish that it was easier to get it completely clean. Even using the soap, my foundation has still remained stuck in the sponge.3
I was really excited to see the BeautyBlender in my Birchbox. However, after trying it a handful of times, I'm still not sure I have the hang of using it just yet. I followed the directions for how to use it precisely, but I feel like I don't get as much product on my face as I do when I use my hands or brushes. There's a spot on the sponge where foundation never came out. On the other hand, I did love the way it got into the contours of my nose and eyes, a spot my brushes usually miss. Hoping to figure out how to get the most out of it, since most people swear by theirs.3
Thought this was alright. I'm not a huge user of sponges to apply makeup so maybe I need a bit more practice.3
Nice little sponge, but I'm not sure if I need this for my daily mascara/eyeliner/lipbalm combo. Guess I'll save for a rainy day.3
