No one wants to wear a face full of pancake makeup, but getting a natural finish from our full-coverage foundation has always seemed like an elusive quest. That’s why we love the beautyblender®, which ensures smooth, even coverage every time. You won’t be surprised to learn that it’s a favorite of pro makeup artists everywhere. This duo pack includes two hot pink sponges: keep one as a spare, or use both with differing shades of foundation for contouring effects.
This will work great for our art projects! Lol. But not for me. I use powder foundation so I haven't found this to be very helpful for application.3
I'm not much of one to use anything besides my fingers to apply foundation. I did enjoy this the few times I have used it though. I will continue to use it from
Time to time but will not purchase. :)
I like this tool, but I wish that it was easier to get it completely clean. Even using the soap, my foundation has still remained stuck in the sponge.3
I was really excited to see the BeautyBlender in my Birchbox. However, after trying it a handful of times, I'm still not sure I have the hang of using it just yet. I followed the directions for how to use it precisely, but I feel like I don't get as much product on my face as I do when I use my hands or brushes. There's a spot on the sponge where foundation never came out. On the other hand, I did love the way it got into the contours of my nose and eyes, a spot my brushes usually miss. Hoping to figure out how to get the most out of it, since most people swear by theirs.3
Thought this was alright. I'm not a huge user of sponges to apply makeup so maybe I need a bit more practice.3
Nice little sponge, but I'm not sure if I need this for my daily mascara/eyeliner/lipbalm combo. Guess I'll save for a rainy day.3
I have a beauty sponge from a different company, which I used for a little while and liked, and then forgot about. The beauty blender is definitely nicer--the material is soft, I like that it's bright pink, and it's nice that it came with soap. But even after cleaning after every use, I couldn't get my makeup stains out, which made it ultimately look really gross. And even though it does smooth the makeup on nicely, I feel like the sponge absorbs so much that it ends up being kind of wasteful. It's a nice product but not one I would buy for myself.3
I've heard great things about this product, but it's not for me. I found the shape of it to be a little difficult when applying foundation. I've always used the triangle sponges you can find at the drug store and those seemed to be quite a bit easier during the application process for me.3
At first I was really excited to try this. I like it for some of the less sensitive areas on my face but I felt that it was too tough to use under my eyes.3
I don't wear a lot of makeup but I used it to apply my bit of cc cream and foundation and it seemed to work well.3
