Like Matt Damon's famous one-liner in Good Will Hunting, this dual-purpose cream palette from theBalm® is destined to be a classic. Each one of these easy-to-blend, long-wearing shades can be used on both cheeks and lips, and they won't streak or fade once applied. Each palette has six orchard-inspired shades: Cider, Cobbler, Pie, Crisp, Candy, and Caramel. Mix and match for the sweetest results.
These colors just aren't me. They were too bright and too orange for my taste and I just don't wear lip balm well anyway.3
I didn't think I would like this but it leaves a natural looking glow on my cheeks and lips!! I will definitely consider purchasing this in the future.5
I ordered this a while back and have been using it for months now. It is really a great little palette and gives you some good variety for cheek color. I've tried it on the lips, and it works well, but it's not the kind of thing I like to use daily as a lip product (but that's my personal preference). I do love it for my cheeks! I use it almost every day! It applies best with a stipple brush.. and usually with a light hand. Some of the colors are very vibrant, and you need a soft touch. A few of the colors are more subtle and can be layered on. I personally like to blend 2-3 colors, usually one of the brighter colors with one of the more muted. It's really fun to play with. My only complaint is that a couple of the colors are somewhat similar. I would have preferred a slightly more contrasting variety. Overall though, great palette for a beautiful, fresh, dewy bright look!4
Maybe this is supposed to have a matte finish on the lips. I'm older and my lips show my age. This product just made my lips look worse, and didn't moisturize at all. It was OK on my cheeks, blended well and was a nice sheer color. Not better than other combination lip/cheek products I've tried.
Probably best on younger skin.
I have received these as samples twice over the past several years and really enjoy how convenienient the Apples are. I love the artistic palette of the charming long wearing shades : Cider, Cobbler, Pie, Crisp, Candy, and last of all, Caramel. The best part of the names and the flat artwork, allow for artistic fun of mixing and matching of the palettes
that make the whole color way and scents such fun and so easily used for travel. The Apples are a winning cosmetic in every way.
I got Pie in my box and it was a game changer. I have not been a fan of cream blush in the past as I look like a Victorian doll after using it, but this product was perfect. Pie has the right amount of pink and blended perfectly to give me color without looking ridiculous. Plus I could use it as a lip gloss! Great product!5
Love the packaging, colors, and blendability. The pigment goes a long way and the product will last you a long time before needing to restock5
To me the balm cosmetics can do no wrong. the sample is super adorable. The product is pigmented. It is super creamy. It does not streak when applying. I like that it can be used on cheeks and lips and is long wearing.5
These are lovely and have a very unique texture that hard to describe. They're creamy when you touch them, but almost morph into a powder on the skin. I'm usually not a fan of cream products on my face, but these won me over. Plus they look lovely on the lips too!
The only reason I docked points was due to how quickly I tend to go through them. This is probably due to my lips being very pigmented on their own so I have to use a decent amount to tint my lips. If your lips have less color, however, this won't be an issue for you.
I received a red color in my box and found it lovely for my lips, I tried it on my cheeks and didn't care for the effect. It's a great lip tint though!4
