no. no. no. i got one of these roller balls in my lovely day box not knowing what the usual asking price is. generally speaking with perfumes (unfortunately) price is a very strong indicator of quality and this is no exception. the scent goes on like straight alcohol, peaks with a semi-matronly tone, and then fades fast. i got desert tulip. yes its a jumbo roller ball and in theory you can't have too many, but this is one of those i hope i lose on vacation somehwere.1
Honestly, I am not sure what to think of this perfume! I want to live it so badly! I live tg e description, but the smell? Eh....not so much! Love the cute rollerball and the "tube" outside package! I wont be purchasing this again.2
This is the first time I've ever ordered a fragrance without smelling it first. I won't make that mistake again. I took a chance because, based on the name and description of Cactus Verde on Illume's website, I thought this would smell light, clean and fresh. I was very surprised to find out what a heavy, sickeningly sweet fragrance it actually is. To me the scent is something that would only appeal to a very young girl. On the upside, the packaging is nice.2
I got this perfume on a whim to try something new. When I got it its very nice packaging and in a very cute bottle which is why I'm giving it 2 stars.. the roll on bottle. It doesn't let much out which is nice because you can control how much you put on. I opened the cap and tried it on and at first I couldn't smell anything, but after waiting a few minutes I could smell it and it was awful. I didnt smell any geranium but I smelled a lot of cedar with a hint of grapefruit ( mostly cedar), which I didnt care for. If you don't like woodsy scents you won't like this scent either. Smelled a little manly to me.2
I like the application method and the texture of this product is very light weight. However the scent is a little overpowering at first. The scent just isn't for me. It has a very strong under tone of aloe maybe.2
I'm not quite sure of this scent to be honest. My first impression was not good. I will try it again in a few weeks when the warmer weather has arrived. It's more of a summer scent than winter.3
I received this in a special box and really liked it. The scent is very summery as the major smells I get are very fruity especially mangoes and sweet fruit. This perfume does last quite a while before reapplication.
This is a super easy to use product and I will consider
buying other scents from this company.
I used the Coconut Milk Mango. The coconut milk added a nice depth to the fruity mango, and while the overall scent was very simple, it was still lovely. It's unfortunate that the scent does not last. Every time I wear it, I notice that the fragrance has worn off after 15 minutes. It's good to use for when you want to relax and smell something pretty on your skin, but if you're looking for a "signature" to wear everyday, you'll want to look elsewhere.3
Lovely fresh scent. I really really like the smell but it doesn't last very long which is really disappointing. seriously great scent though.3
I got the Desert Tulip in an LE box and it's not the most offensive floral but is still way too floral for my taste. Why 3 stars? $12 is cheap and the other fragrances seem promising based on description and reviews. Will likely use points to try another fruity, non-floral scent.3
