Any guilt we feel about staying in for a night to binge watch the latest season of House of Cards is relieved by simultaneously using this Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask. That counts as multitasking, right? The mask exfoliates, firms, and moisturizes skin, adding radiance and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in the process. Now that’s a skincare hand well played.
This mask is great to leave on while you are getting ready. As soon as you feel the burning, it's time to wash. The mask leaves your face feeling refreshed and clean!4
This went into the trash after squirting out a little of the pumpkin mask and wiping it on my face. It smells like pumpkin, has the consistency of mashed pumpkin, and really is not what I want to put on my face. Not a fan at all.1
...I do have sensitive skin, but not to the point where this should have caused intense burning from the moment I put it on. It was washed off immediately because it was so intense...I can handle a bit of tingle but this was really bad. I had to go right to moisturizer tonight, so maybe my face was just extra mad for some reason. I gave it two stars because I like the concept and the smell. Not for me.2
I try every kind of mask I can get my hands on. Most are ok but some make you take notice. This is one of the best pumpkin masks I've used. I'm amused reading other reviews that complain that it's too....pumpkin (?!). I could feel the serious tingle within seconds and it firmed my face immediately. It leaves your skin a bit red for about an hour or so after using it, so be sure you leave some time between the mask and makeup application. If you want a real pumpkin treatment and not some lame pumpkin-scented/ pumpkin-flavored excuse for a mask, this is the one you're looking for.5
The airless pump doesn't work most of the time. I used this mask twice now and each time I keep pumping and nothing comes out. Eventully I get a small amount to apply to my face. I should probably tell Birchbox because I could just have a defective one. Either way, I don't like the pump application when using a face mask. The mask itself is ok. I bought because of the ingredients. Especially the glycolic acid. For the price, I wouldn't re-purchase.3
I love this mask so much! It makes my skin feel so soft and removes any texture! It does tingle a little bit, but I don't mind since the results are so worth it!4
It did smell like food. Even after washing it off, it smelled like food.
Can't say my face was clearer, cleaner, or better... But it felt good and scrubbed good. I wouldn't be disappointed if I had paid full price, but not sure I'd do it twice.
It took a while for me to really get into this mask, but I am so thankful the sample size allowed me the time to see how awesome this mask is. I'd tried it 4 or 5 times, but the last application in the sample really did it for me. For the first few apps, my skin felt smooth afterward, but it didn't really stand out. Recently, though, I moved to a more humid climate and I am blown away by using this mask now. My skin feels supple and nourished and smooth, and stays that way for a few days following. Went ahead and bought a full-size and it has quickly become my favorite.5
I love this product. It has a subtle tingle for me, which is fine. My skin glows, looks fresher, radiant and more supple. Easy to use and a great amount for the cost.5
So, although I really like this mask, it is definitely not for sensitive skin (which the company states on the front of the container). When I first put it on it immediately had a bit of a tingly/stinging sensation, which I don't mind, but others with more sensitive skin may not like. Overall though, I did like how moisturizing this mask was.4
