Any guilt we feel about staying in for a night to binge watch the latest season of House of Cards is relieved by simultaneously using this Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask. That counts as multitasking, right? The mask exfoliates, firms, and moisturizes skin, adding radiance and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in the process. Now that’s a skincare hand well played.
Even though this product was effective...I just could NOT get past the horrible pumpkin baby food smell and consistency. It was impossible to get the product to apply evenly. Not a recommendable product.3
Although face masks are great, I am personally not a fan of the pumpkin scent. I was also not a big fan of the texture of this particular mask.4
I was so excited to receive this product! I love Michael Todd products. I have been wanting to try this product for a while now and was thrilled to receive it this month! I love this product and now that I have been able to try it, I WILL definitely purchase the full size. I love the feel of it on my face and I love the smell! Smells like pumpkin pie! It also made my face feel soooooo wonderful and helps with acne!5
The consistency and smell is just like pumpkin pie. But after one use my skin looked young and fresh. I am 42 with large pores, oily/dry skin and adult acne. I was so impressed with this product that I purchased the Anti Aging Regimen from the product's website. I am looking forward to trying it out, to see if it's as good as this pumpkin mask (which I just purchased a full side from Birchbox).4
This product worked well, it softened my skin and left it feeling hydrated. The problem was the smell and consistency. It was very difficult to get an even layer on my skin because it was either absorbed or it was a big glob. I also really didn't like the smell. I know it says that it's pumpkin, but it REALLY smells like pumpkin and not in a good "pumpkin pie in the oven" sort of way. It smells like you just opened a can of pumpkin puree and put it all over your face. Also, after I washed it off, I felt like my skin had a slight orange tint to it for a little while, but that might just be me. Overall, I was really excited about the size of the product- it was a good sized tube that would probably cost $10 in the store. I also thought the product was pretty effective; it made my skin soft, hydrated and firm. However, I didn't feel like it exfoliated my skin, but I don't think that's a big deal since you're supposed to use a cleanser beforehand. Anyway, if you don't mind the smell or consistency, it's worth trying this product. It makes your skin look great, even if you don't leave it on for the full ten minutes.3
I wanted so desperately to love this product. It's organic, and uses a lot of great ingredients. However, it stung my skin and did not smell the best.2
The pumpkin aspect made it feel a bit less "springy" which was disappointing because usually I love how Birchbox uses season appropriate product in its boxes. I don't usually use masks but this one was very effective!4
I could't get past the burning sensation when I put the mask on. I also wasn't a fan of the smell1
This mask had a funny scent to it. It was also kind of gummy when I went to wash it off of my face and I almost had to scrape it off.3
Wow this pumpkin mask smells amaaaazing! But I have very sensitive skin and found it was very harsh on my skin. I read the front of the label afterwards which mentions not for sensitive skin.. So I was a little surprised birchbox put it in my box.3
