We’ve been on quite the safari to find a set of makeup tools that fits our criteria for both form and function—and our journey has led us to this set from JAPONESQUE®. The pink leopard print tube adds a dose of fun, and we’re equally as wild about the contents inside: five brushes we can take everywhere and use whenever we need a spur-of-the-moment touchup.
This is exactly what I was looking for--all of the "essential" brushes in one easy to carry case. I can throw it in my purse or travel bag and apply all of my makeup the same way I would at home with my full set of brushes. Also--bristles are soft. Good bargain. Highly recommend.5
I'm one of those people who used to apply make-up with their fingers too, (OMG right?) and after forcing myself to put on makeup like a grown up, I decided I need a basic brush set. I love this one. I probably don't use them 100% right, and I don't know their names, but I know my makeup goes on smoother, and looks better, so I'm happy. :] Love the tube too, because the last thing I need is 5 loose brushes.5
I love this brush set. It has all the brushes you could ever need and a handy case for travel (which I use on a regular basis). The bristles have not fallen out, which is a common complaint of other sets I've seen, and the product goes on evenly. Confession: I used to put on my makeup with my fingers and I cannot believe I did not now. These brushes have changed my life (make-up-wise).5
I enjoy using this set. I tend to keep the big brush clean and I use it as a clean up brush to remove fall out or an extra brush to help blend without color. I love the two eye shadow brushes, or well, that is what I use the little two for. I use the littlest one to put color right next to my lash line. It works great! The flat tan brush (I am horrible with brush names in case you haven't figured that out), I actually turned it into a nail polish brush to dip in nail polish remover and finish off my nails. I think it works great. They are very light weight brushes and I like how they came with a case. As I said, it is a great set for the price and it is a great beginner set or nice to have an extra brush or two around.4
This is good for what I paid with my points, but not for the retail price. They are really no better than the E.L.F. and I don't think that's saying much. I'm definitely getting new ones after using these for only a couple months.
I absolutely am in love with this little travel size brush set and the cute little container as they are so perfect for on the go with my busy schedule and yes I am absolutely recommending if you don't own this set to purchase it I have no regrets I'm in love..5
I don't do a whole lot of contouring/highlighting/foundation work, so this is perfect for eyes, lips, and concealer. Love the case that makes it easy to travel. The brushes clean well and don't shed.5
Japonesque tube set of brushes is packages very pretty. The selection of brushes included is good and quality is decent. My only complaint is that the description was not good...should have told the size because it is small.4
Recently purchased and I love them! They are a small travel size but, perfect for a beginner. They are smooth and dont shed when in use. The case is super durable and cute. Definate purchase!5
I'm glad that I got new brushes, but these are pretty cheap and won't last long. Wish I would have spent a little more on something nicer3
