We have a sneaking suspicion that Jane Austen’s saucy literary heroine, Elizabeth Bennet, might turn to this classic British scent to melt Mr. Darcy’s cold, brooding heart. Inspired by classic country gardens, English Laundry’s charming blend perfectly melds top notes of rose geranium with a backdrop of woody spicy and musky notes.
I really wish I could opt out of the perfume samples. I'm generally allergic to most commercial perfumes - some chemical reaction in one of the bases - if I'm not sneezing, I'm breaking out in a rash. It's fairly light and a little sweet as these go, but mostly they just smell like the chemicals they use to dilute the oil, and makes me itch.
1I went into this thinking I would really like this perfume, but the scent of this perfume is nauseatingly sweet. I just can't handle it, and it triggers my migraines. I expected it to be a really light floral scent, but it's definitely not! Also, the packaging of this sample is pretty ridiculous. Pulling the cap off it so hard that I end up spilling a lot of the product. If you're going to have a perfume sample (which I honestly think should be bonus samples and not actual samples), then at least make them sprays or roller balls! I'm definitely not happy with this perfume and will not be purchasing it or recommending it to friends, family, or anyone who asks.
