We have a sneaking suspicion that Jane Austen’s saucy literary heroine, Elizabeth Bennet, might turn to this classic British scent to melt Mr. Darcy’s cold, brooding heart. Inspired by classic country gardens, English Laundry’s charming blend perfectly melds top notes of rose geranium with a backdrop of woody spicy and musky notes.
I received a sample of this fragrance in my Feb. Birchbox. I love the scent - sweet and fragrant - but it is almost exactly, if not indeed the same scent as another less expensive perfume that has been on the market for quite awhile. I know this because I own said perfume. So, with that said, although I love the way it smells, there is zero chance I would actually purchase it, since I already know and love the perfume that originated this particular scent.
4I rarely like perfume samples I receive but after I got a sample of this in the mystery pack I had to buy it! It was out of stock for a long time so when it came back in stock I snapped it up! I like that it's a rollerball b/c I feel like that keeps me from wasting any of the perfume. I don't like to douse myself in perfume so just a couple of dabs and I'm good to go. It has a nice scent that is not old ladyish or too fruity. I've really never smelled any perfume like it before. THANK YOU, Birchbox, for sending me a sample of this perfume! That said, now that I have found one I like I hope never to get a sample of another perfume again. LOL I'm good now! Now more perfume searching for me!
