If you had the chance to rifle through a French woman’s bathroom cabinet, you might be surprised to find this hydrating body oil in lieu of the heavy lotions we favor stateside. But we think you should take a cue from our sisters overseas. This fast-drying formula cures dryness, and it isn’t the least bit greasy. Plus, the clean, woodsy scent has the faintest whiff of pine—no wonder skincare-obsessed Parisians consider it a staple.
Some other reviewers mentioned that this scent is not for them, but I love the lightly woodsy/piney smell for winter. The oil is hydrating and absorbent -- perfect for keeping skin soft in drier months.4
For the amount you get for the price, it can't be beat!! A little bit goes a LONG way, which makes the value even higher. It's also very moisturizing! I really do not like the smell though, which makes it really tough for me to buy this - my favorite thing about body oils is how long the scent stays with you.4
This oil is nice and moisturizing, but a little on the heavy/thick side. The smell is ok, you don't really smell it once it's on.4
This smells great and makes my skin feel really smooth. If you use too much it feels a little oily at first, but then soaks in to keep you moisturized.4
This oil rocks. I've long been a fan of oil rather than cream to moisturize my skin and this one is the perfect consistency -- not to thick, and absorbs into your skin quickly so that you can get dressed without ruining your clothes.4
Oil is nice and rubs in relatively well. It is a little thigh and doesn't spray evenly, but u get used to it. Smell is nice, not overwhelming4
I like this product as a post-shower "I'm in a hurry" moisturizer. It has a nice smell and doesn't leave a residue, so I can get dressed immediately after applying.4
Not so thrilled about the mineral oil, but emulsifies great and makes my skin soft. A bit greasy on its own, though, best to apply to wet/damp skin.4
I love this product. My only suggestion is that it should be a spray instead of the current way the oil is dispensed. It would be easier to apply.4
I was a little hesitant to try an oil, as my skin isn't typically overly dry. Now that it's getting warm here in Texas, I wanted to make sure I had something in stock to keep the summer heat from drying out my skin. I love this stuff. It's an oil, so yes it makes your skin feel a little oily for until it soaks in. I use it at night to avoid walking around looking slick for a while, and always wake up with the softest skin. I've only been using it for a few days and I've already gotten compliments on how my skin feels from others :)4
