Get your eager little fingers away from that zit—attacking your skin isn’t going to make unsightly acne go away (in fact, it’ll make it worse). Give your stressed complexion a break with Jouer’s powerful yet lightweight primer. Its mattifying formula soothes and treats irritated breakouts with a unique blend of salicylic acid and antioxidant-rich ingredients. Just a thin layer will help heal blemishes, calm redness, and refine pores, providing a smooth, even canvas for foundation and concealer.
I recently developed adult acne and have to be careful about what I put on my face. I want to wear makeup to work but worry about clogging my pores and disrupting my existing acne. I used this sample and noticed a difference right away in not only how my skin felt, but looked even before I put the makeup on. The redness in my skin went away and it created a thin layer over my skin making the texture of my skin appear smoother. Taking in to consideration that it also has salicylic acid and antioxidant-rich ingredients, this is a win-win for my skin.4
This is a great product!! It really does work help to get rid of your Blemish quicker and makes it less red! I'm bad and do like pick and this product has helped me not to to that and to let the anti-blemish matte primer do it JOB!!!5
Really helped reduce redness and helped foundation adhere!5
This primer is awesome! Really helps for an even foundation coverage and smoothing skin4
I've been trying to find a primer forever that would not break me out or clog my pores, especially with the weather and season changing. I actually used this primer during a baseball game and when ever I took pictures with my cousins, my face was not acting like a shiny mess. I also like the fact that it has salicylic acid because it is helping my skin fight my blemishes on my face. I also like the fact that it was light weight on my face and not heavy. Overall I am happy with this product.4
I have insanely combination, sensitive, acne prone skin. This has been wonderful making my makeup stay on and stay flawless and it doesn't irritate or cause any pimples. I also loveeee how light it is. One of the best I've tried so far!5
I was really looking forward to using this product as my skin is constantly an oil field, broken out mess. I was slick again after an hour of use in non-humid temperatures. I didn't notice much of a difference in my break-outs nor did my pores look any different. I will say that it is lightweight and suitable for my sensitive skin. I'm just very disappointed in this product!2
I don't suffer from acne, but I do have oily skin. The first time I used this I was amazed. After eight hours of wear I didn't have to powder, or blot my face. Normally, I have to touch up 3-4 times a day. If you have oily skin, I highly recommend giving this a go.5
I love Jouer so I bought this one full sized before I tried a mini one. I like how smooth and gel like it feels going on, it's not quite as silicone-y as most primers can be. The thing that deters me is the smell, I expected a citrus or tea tree scent but it's just slightly chemicalized floral-ish. I didn't notice blemishes decreasing or not lasting as long, which is why it's taken a back seat in my makeup regimen. I still pull it out and try it now and then hoping to fall in love with it.3
Wow! It's amazing how much I dislike this! I love the Jouer brand and was really excited about this product, but I have now tried it in so many different ways (different amounts, different timing, 5 different foundations over the top, different application tools) and it's just awful on my skin (combination dry)! Almost every time I've used it, I've had to give up and take all the makeup off at the end because it ended up so splotchy! It would slip off of my oily areas, and it caked up on my dry spots! I'd use the exact same foundation with dr. brandt pores no more, and it looks flawless. So weird. I'll look into exchanging. . . .2
