We’ve told you countless times to never go to bed wearing makeup, but this two-in-one concealer and anti-aging treatment proves there’s an exception to every rule. theBalm® sourced the best skincare ingredients and put them all in one creamy, non-comedogenic formula. It’s so pure that you can wear it 24/7—no kidding. By day, it serves to hide our puffy circles and other flaws. By night, it works to undo the look of fine lines and wrinkles (your fancy serums and creams will feel neglected).
This product is nowhere near as creamy as I was hoping it would be. Also it seems to settle into my fine lines at the inner corners of my eyes no matter what I try. It's not bad but I prefer Benefit's Erase Paste and, my holy grail under-eye concealer, Laura Mercier.3
Great for under eye circles but i notice it makes my blotches appear to be oily. overall i'd rather put something on my skin that is good for it, than chemicals.3
This product provides great coverage, but ran a little smaller than I was hoping with the price.
Even still, I'm happy.
I've been using this as my undereye concealer for awhile and I really like it. Covers and blends better and more easily than a liquid in my opinion, and doesn't crease much (though i always put at least a little bit of a neutral shadow on my lids to prevent getting concealer goop in the crease). And it claims to be antiaging! And it's cheap!!
BUT I'm on my second one and both times the cheap plastic lid snapped and broke off in multiple places within a week or two of receipt, even when I was extra careful with the second jar. This means I can't cover the concealer so it will dry out faster, get dirty, and can't be used for travel. I really should throw them both out but like the product itself too much. Has anyone tried this and can recommend a similar product with better packaging?
I find this better for spot correction rather than around my eyes- I like something a bit more moisturizing and brighter around my eyes. Probably best for oily/combination skin types.3
This is one of two concealers I switch back and forth between. It's a decent coverage, but not stellar. I'd say it gives average coverage. Some days, it's not potent enough to mask my dark circles to my satisfaction. Other days, it gets the job done. The plastic lid has been cracking in new places practically since day one, so it's not the most sturdy pot.3
And this was not it. I apply with a brush. It is a good product, but doesn't fully conceal my dark under eye circles as I had hoped.3
This is a pretty basic concealer to me, nothing special. The lightest color is still a bit dark on my fair pink undertones, and the staying power is average. It doesn't sink into fine lines or creep down my face though!3
This is my first time using a concealer, face product from The Balm. The pigmentation of the product is really great. However, the texture isn't the creamiest of products. It's good for under the eyes, but not for blemishes, i suppose that is the main purpose of it. I'm not so fond of the smell either, reminds me of fake, crayon-y, cheap plastic-y make up smell.3
I find this concealer to be just ok for me a little ashy maybe the dark needed to be a little darker, but the formula was soft and smooth just wished they didn't use talc3
