I reallllly wanted to love this concealer, since I've heard such good things about theBalm. But I just don't. It creases horribly for me when used for undereye, even if I just put on the thinnest layer and blend it out. I have to use an eyelid primer with it, which helps a little but it still never really sets and creases all day. I've also tried it for concealing blemishes but the coverage isn't enough. I'm sad I went for this instead of Boi-ing to be honest.3
I wasn't in love with this product as it was too cakey. It seemed like it did double duty, covered up under eye circles and was good for my skin, but I didn't like the feel of it to the point that I had to stop wearing it despite the "good" it would do. I don't recommend this product, unfortunately. The texture just wasn't right (maybe because it was trying to do too much).3
I have SERIOUS under eye circles and I'm always looking for a good undereye concealer at a decent price. This one is only okay...not wonderful or horrible. It works about as well as a concealer from a drugstore.3
My skin is a bit on the dry side and this balm did not offer additional moisture. I think the coverage is just ok. I'll still use it but it's not my favorite. I would prefer more moisture.3
I'm 36, I work nights, and I'm Hispanic. Ive used this a few times, but it wasn't really that helpful. It's works fine as a regular concealer, but as a cover up for small crows feet... Not so helpful.3
I have very dark circles under my eyes, so I've tried a lot of different concealers. This one provides pretty decent coverage, but I also found the need to layer a more liquid concealer on top of this timeBalm to completely cover my dark circles. This product is great at lasting all day and staying in place. However, it does tend to settle in fine lines, so just be sure to use a light layer of concealer.3
This product is nowhere near as creamy as I was hoping it would be. Also it seems to settle into my fine lines at the inner corners of my eyes no matter what I try. It's not bad but I prefer Benefit's Erase Paste and, my holy grail under-eye concealer, Laura Mercier.3
Great for under eye circles but i notice it makes my blotches appear to be oily. overall i'd rather put something on my skin that is good for it, than chemicals.3
This product provides great coverage, but ran a little smaller than I was hoping with the price.
Even still, I'm happy.
I've been using this as my undereye concealer for awhile and I really like it. Covers and blends better and more easily than a liquid in my opinion, and doesn't crease much (though i always put at least a little bit of a neutral shadow on my lids to prevent getting concealer goop in the crease). And it claims to be antiaging! And it's cheap!!
BUT I'm on my second one and both times the cheap plastic lid snapped and broke off in multiple places within a week or two of receipt, even when I was extra careful with the second jar. This means I can't cover the concealer so it will dry out faster, get dirty, and can't be used for travel. I really should throw them both out but like the product itself too much. Has anyone tried this and can recommend a similar product with better packaging?
