We’ve never been satisfied with basic blushes. Too often, they look amazing in the compact but leave behind flat streaks of color. Not so with this peachy pink powder, which has a subtle infusion of golden shimmer to give off a 3-D effect. It also works as a shadow and highlighter, letting you achieve pinup-worthy results with just one product. And did we mention that the cute mirror compact will look right at home in your purse?
This product is far to shimmery and sparkly to use as blush. For eye shadow, I can see where it would work if you have the right skin tone. I am fair and it ended up making me look really tired, like my eyes were pinkish red.2
Sorry...I'm a bit too old for this much shimmer. Even through the holidays and New Year's I was uncomfortabe with it. Cute packaging though...2
This color was not for me. A little disappointing as it was in my first-ever Birchbox.2
I love The Balm products but this was just not in my color scheme!2
i think this would be wonderful if there was a variation of colors. it made me look burnt instead of a healthy glow. but i think it just didn't mesh well with my skin tone. on the right person, it could be lovely.2
My main issue is the sample size. I use a pretty big fluffy brush for blush and the sample was the size of a postage stamp. It was hard to put the brush on it without picking up too much product, which I then had to blow off lest I look like a clown. The results were "ok". The sample itself might be good to throw in the makeup bag, but it's not my favorite blush by any means.2
This was not my favorite sample. It's a little too shimmery for me and too much of a "yellow" undertone in it for my complexion. I need blue-based items. This just made me look sallow.2
I do own the full size version of this and like it but just not for me. I think this would go well on beautiful dark skin toned women. The gold in it would look so pretty on their skin. For me, it's too gold and too shimmery.2
I saw the word balm and thought it was lip balm. Boy was I surprised. Product was okay. Did not like the shade at all.2
This would be a nice summer blush for someone with honey or darker skin. It is far too pigmented for my fair skin. The gold glitter is a bit much for a year round blush.2
