We’ve never been satisfied with basic blushes. Too often, they look amazing in the compact but leave behind flat streaks of color. Not so with this peachy pink powder, which has a subtle infusion of golden shimmer to give off a 3-D effect. It also works as a shadow and highlighter, letting you achieve pinup-worthy results with just one product. And did we mention that the cute mirror compact will look right at home in your purse?
It makes an okay blush, but I would never wear this as a shadow. The shimmer is subtle, but it's just not that great of a color. Nothing I would choose on my own.2
Never have used theBalm products before. Loved the packaging on this Hot Mama Shadow and Blush. Tried as a blush. It looked kind of orange in the package, but went on as a rosier color than I expected. It really made my cheekbones stand out. Personally, felt like my cheeks were really saying look at me. Not normally my style, but a good product. Probably a girls night out product for me.2
i didnt think this product was anything special, The color wasn't really complimentary to my skin color as a blush and as an eye hadow, it was awful! the texture wasn't bad, my main objection is the color.2
I've used theBalm products before and have been very happy. I wanted to like this product, but the color and amount of shimmer is just not for me. I did wear it a couple times and never made it more than a couple hours before the color faded. Will not be purchasing.2
Doesn't seem like it last very long. Also too light to use as a blush... it also doesnt work very well for eye shadow for me... has too much of a pinkish red tone.. Makes my eye lids almost look sun burned..2
the color looks nice, but the shimmer is strong. Spotlights for large pores2
I'm not into the whole idea of every single product I place on my face having some sort of shimmer in it. I love shimmery eye shadows, but when I think shimmery blush is overkill and not a good look for anyone over the age of 15. With that being said I was pretty disappointed when this came in my sample box. The color itself had all the potential for greatness - a nice, vibrant peachy pink - but it's not even subtly shimmery, it's SHIMMERY. Pass.2
I don't like it because it's very "orange" The blush that I use is ususally in the plum family. I would NEVER put this color on my eyes as a shadow. Thanks anyway!2
I like this product, however it does not work with any skin tone. I have very fair skin and it wasn't the right shade for me.2
I cant really use this product as a blush -- maybe a highlighter but there isnt enough rouge in it to be applied as blush. It's alright.2
