We’ve never been satisfied with basic blushes. Too often, they look amazing in the compact but leave behind flat streaks of color. Not so with this peachy pink powder, which has a subtle infusion of golden shimmer to give off a 3-D effect. It also works as a shadow and highlighter, letting you achieve pinup-worthy results with just one product. And did we mention that the cute mirror compact will look right at home in your purse?
I like the idea of an all in one product. However, I found that this was not good as a blush, it applied very dark and heavy and was hard to blend. It works better as an eyeshadow but the shade was better when used with a lighter shadow over...perhaps the color was not right for me.2
I used this as eye shadow and the red color ran on my eyes and dripped down and they weren't even wet or sweaty. It was okay as blush...I was hoping it would give me more color but it was very light.2
This blush was a little light for my complextion so I felt that I didn't like it as much as someone who has a lighter face tone.2
I really enjoy the concept of this product... however, I felt that this was too bright and peachy to be eyeshadow (at least on me/this season... might look great on somebody else), and too coppery/shimmery to be blush.2
The packaging is very cute, and I like the amount of pigment in the product. But the color is too peachy for me, I have pretty fair skin with pink undertones and red hair. It doesn't look quite right as eye shadow or blush.2
While I love products made by theBalm, I was not too happy about the color of this blush. I'm sure some would love it, but I prefer a more matte blush rather than the shimmer that this one has.2
While the product seemed of good quality, the color would never work with my pale, cooler skin color. I gave it to my mom, and it works nicely with her ruddy Irish complexion.2
It makes an okay blush, but I would never wear this as a shadow. The shimmer is subtle, but it's just not that great of a color. Nothing I would choose on my own.2
Never have used theBalm products before. Loved the packaging on this Hot Mama Shadow and Blush. Tried as a blush. It looked kind of orange in the package, but went on as a rosier color than I expected. It really made my cheekbones stand out. Personally, felt like my cheeks were really saying look at me. Not normally my style, but a good product. Probably a girls night out product for me.2
i didnt think this product was anything special, The color wasn't really complimentary to my skin color as a blush and as an eye hadow, it was awful! the texture wasn't bad, my main objection is the color.2
