There’s no shortage of options when it comes to finding a heroic BB cream or tinted moisturizer for the face. But for years, self-tanner was our only option when it came to perfecting the skin on our arms and legs. Enter our latest Birchbox Find: a complexion-correcting moisturizer for the whole body. This five-in-one formula from Jergens® works on multiple levels to hydrate, illuminate, visibly firm, even skin tone, and reduce the appearance of imperfections. As if that weren’t enough, it absorbs into skin faster than you can say “flaky.” You’ll see visible results in as little as five days.
I like this product and will probably buy it after my sample is up. I was hesitant at first, because I didn't want to stain my clothes, or hands, and I was worried I'd smell funky like self-tanner. I ended up not having any trouble with any of my concerns, no problem with my clothes, no stained hands, and no funky smell! Totally perfect.5
Super hydrating! Thought it did exactly as it says and hid some of the many imperfections on my body. Also left my body feeling hydrated instead of oily or sticky!4
Worth noting for anyone unaware: this is a self-tanning product, even though it is not labeled as such. It contains dihydroxyacetone and erythrulose, which are both artificial tanning ingredients. Just an FYI!1
This didn't impress me much. I've been using straight coconut oil for the length of winter. Coconut oil evens skin tone, fades dark spots, and is the best moisturizer for the body that I've found. Sorry Jergens.3
This product has terribly toxic ingredients. I have another BB cream that works great and is all natural so I definitely am not of fan of this one.1
This is a self-tanner which I do not need. It has some terrible ingredients in it, and this is available at any drugstore. Why did birchbox send me this?1
Totally unnecessary for our bodies. I mean come on, are we going to coer our entire bodies in make up?3
I don't like receiving samples on my birchbox of products I can get at a regular CVS or pharmacy store.
I also did not like the smell of the product. It leaves that weird bad scent that self-tanners leave in your skin.
I also didn't see my skin change or get a bit of color after 5 days of use, as it is labeled in the packaging.
This product is also anything but organic. Too many bad ingredients in it.
Good to know that by "Body Perfecting" just means self-tanner. Totally worthless sample because I like the color of my skin as is.1
I realize that I am supposed to be rating the product - but seriously! If I wanted a sample of a product I can get at the supermarket, I would just go to a Target and buy it for $6 full size. So frustrating to get products such as this in my much anticipated Birchbox!!!1
