This creamy balm is such an incredible multi-tasker, we don’t know how we ever lived without it. A three-in-one makeup remover, cleanser, and head-to-toe moisturizer, it’s the only product you need to keep your skin pure and unbelievably soft. The faint tropical scent comes courtesy of organic oils and other natural ingredients. Bonus: it’s made without a single drop of water, making it ultra-rich and concentrated (look Ma, no fillers!).
I've used Cetaphil user for ever, without issue as my skin is combo/dry with Tzone breakouts...even in my late 30's. But, I wanted something that would be dual purpose and keep me supple during the winter (hate the flaky cheeks) but certainly didn't want to get a new round of breakouts. Also, we plan to do some camping in the spring and summer, and wanted to keep my essentials light. I believe this has been my dream come true. I'm a new believer!5
Skin Savior has been great as a gentle makeup remover/ cleanser for my sensitive skin. And it smells AMAZING! Love it.4
My skin is really dry, especially in the winter, and this worked very well as a moisturizer. I never used it as a cleanser but I will definitely keep this on my "try it" list!5
I have been using this product for a week now, and absolutely love it. I have uber sensitive skin (rosacea) and find most cleansers to be highly irritating, including cetaphil, and even more so since the weather has become a bit chilly; since starting this product, my redness has calmed, my dry spots have softened, and my face simply glows. I do not use it as a moisturizer on my face because it is a bit heavy, but I do use it elsewhere as needed. I have tried it with the Jane Iredale Magic Mitt--you don't need the cleanser with it, but it provides a nice barrier--the Aveda shammy, and for the first time tonight with my new Clarisonic (which is the best so far). I have found that it can leave a little bit of a residue (because it is all oil, and you mix it with water, so it is bound to happen), but I use a soft cloth to gently press it into my skin, which soaks up the water and pushes the oils into my skin, leaving my face (or wherever) incredibly soft and hydrated. This is an amazing product, and totally worth the splurge.
I initially received this product as a sample in my box. I loved it so much that I have since purchased it. It's very versatile as both a cleanser and moisturizer. My skin becomes dry in the winter and this balm is key to keeping my face hydrated. I would definitely recommend the product to others. Keep in mind that a little balm goes a long way.5
I love this cleanser! I am a retin-a user, and sometimes my skin craves some extra tlc. This cleanser does exactly what it promises and helps with any irritation I may have from the retin-a. A little goes a long ways... I recommend the cleansing cloth that goes with it too. Takes the waterproof eye make-up right off!4
I received this in my box a while back, and started using it recently - it's great for moisturizing (the scent is delicious!), and since it's all natural, I'm not concerned about using it around my eyes. A little actually goes a long way - I have a samlple size that's still mostly full.
I'll definitely buy the full size when I run out.
I was a little skeptical at first because I have acne-prone skin and this balm is made from oils. I wanted to try organic products that would help get rid of my acne. I was done using products with harsh chemicals that had only made my acne worse. Looking online I found this balm and it had so many good reviews from people with acne prone skin that I decided to order it and try out. I have only been using it less than a month but already I've seen my acne calming down. I use it with the Shammy and use the double cleansing method which I'm also falling in love with.4
I love this as a makeup remover. It's perfect. I don't much use it for cleansing only because I prefer a nice soap and water face splash, but as a makeup remover or all purpose dab of moisture here and there it is wonderful!4
I tried this (admittedly) without looking at the label properly and tried to wash my face with this and it felt like paste going on. I panicked and tried to rinse off with water but that made the situation worse and I ended up washing it off with soap. I can't imagine using this on my face, I feel like it would make me break out but I would use it for dry hands, elbows & knees.2
