We’ve gone through our fair share of growing pains (like our regrettable Goth phase back in high school). Yet somehow we managed to escape unscathed—with one major exception. Nowadays, the only signs of our long-gone past lie in our unsightly stretch marks. Enter this sophisticated vanishing cream, which visibly fades the marks on our legs, hips, and stomach that we once regarded as permanent fixtures.
Even though the bottle was a decent size, it seemed like it was almost empty when I first used it. Didn't really notice any results, but the small amount might not have been enough to make a difference.2
Since I only had a sample of this product I have no idea if it works in the long run. The fact that you had to let it dry before you put cloths on worried me and it was a bit sticky feeling afterwards. It may very well work if you use it more than a few times.2
I feel this product would be better suited for an older age bracket of Birchbox users. I am a healthy 26 year old woman who hasn't gained or lost a ton of weight, nor do I have any children. This product was a waste for me as I have no use for it. Now I have it sitting in my bathroom for the day I do need strechmark cream during/after pregnancy - which will not be for a long time.... I was under the impression that Birchbox was geared towards the age box the user clicked, I struggle to find the usefullness of this product for women my age.2
I don't really believe in stretch mark cream to begin with, but this was an inoffensive moisturizer at least. Kind of that 'unscented' smell for products. Nothing great, nothing terrible.2
I couldn't tell a difference. I'm sure it's something that you would have to use for a number of weeks before seeing results, but I wasn't really impressed.2
I have lots of stretch marks from my 2 children. This cream did nothing to the apperance of them. My stretch marks are not red. Maybe if you have fresh stretch marks this product would benefit. I dont think any cream can change my wide stretch marks.2
I should confess that I got mixed up and thought that this was for cellulite first and then realized it was for stretch marks. But I realized it after the first go. So, the product says that you need two weeks for the stretch marks. The sample was only half full and was pretty small to begin with. I tried it for the three days it lasted and didn't notice any difference in my skin.2
I am skeptical that these types of creams really work, but if they do, it is only after months of dedicated use. A sample, even one that lasts several weeks, is pretty much useless. I tried it twice a day for a week... no change in stretch marks unsurprisingly.2
I know this is a sample size, so I'm aware I probably won't be seeing results with this small of a bottle. However, the price is so high for something I don't really believe works. I will not be purchasing this product.2
Not really sure if people should bank on this product vanishing their stretch marks. But if you want to spend that much money you might as well go to a dermatologist and get something that's been proven to at least help.2
