Tatcha Aburatorigami Blotting Papers

You can thank profligate Japanese royalty for Tatcha's elegant blotting papers: during Imperial times, handmade paper was used to protect gold and silver as it was hammered into decorative gold leaf. Geishas used the leftover papers, flecked with precious metals, to keep their skin matte.

Large, but pricey

I’m a little obsessed with blotting papers and use them daily, so I’ve tried every brand out there. These are a nice large size, but I still usually end up using more than one at a time. They leave my makeup mostly undisturbed, so that’s a plus. Expensive, so I’ve only bought them a few times when I feel like splurging.

Not worth the buy
Purchased

I love Tatcha! I use many of there products but these papers are not worth the buy. I had to use more than one to make my face non oily. With my other go to papers, I always only use one. My other papers only cost $5 for 50. These are $12 for 30 sheets. I don't recommend these papers.

Expensive, but worth the money
Purchased

Although these blotting papers are expensive, they absorb so much oil. They are all around elegant, and are a perfect treat for anyone with super oily skin, like me.

Beautiful blotting papers

These papers make a girl feel sooo fancy! They do the job for sure, but just having such a beautiful, gold-flecked, semi-indulgent product sitting on my vanity makes me feel kinda royal or something :)

Tatcha Blotting Papers
Purchased

I have been using blotting papers for several years now. I first received a sample from Birchbox and was sold. I ordered these just to try a different brand and they work about like any blotting paper, but nice thing is their size. They are at least twice the size of the Clean & Clear brand, so you only need one, which makes them less expensive overall. The packaging is really nice too. Would be something pretty to include with a gift.

Thoroughly impressed
Purchased

I've used many different brands of blotting papers in the past with decent results. These, I have to say, work better than any of the others I've tried. Not sure what it is that's different about them, but they really absorb the excess oil my skin creates. These will definitely be a staple in my purse from now on.

Tat ha blotting papers
Purchased

Tasha blotting papers are fun to use and do a great job at absorbing oil that builds during the day. These are large and size and you rarely need to use more than one.

Love these
Purchased

So I really love these, the packaging, the presentation, etc. But the problem is, they really are almost too pretty to use. Add the price into that and I consider them my "special occasion" blotting papers and keep more generic ones with me for everyday.
