You can thank profligate Japanese royalty for Tatcha's elegant blotting papers: during Imperial times, handmade paper was used to protect gold and silver as it was hammered into decorative gold leaf. Geishas used the leftover papers, flecked with precious metals, to keep their skin matte.
These were very effective and helpful. They did a really great job of wiping up oil and making my face less shiny. I think I will definitely have to purchase these in the future.4
These work extremely well, I just wish there were more of them in the package! They definitely blot shine without ruining my makeup and I love that you can use both sides.4
when you are on the run and feel a bit tired and grimy. I like to keep them in my bag for a quick pick me up. Love the product and have purchased it in the past.4
These are the only blotting papers I've ever used so I can't compare them to another product, but these are effective. They're super expensive so I only use one a day but they do their job magnificently. Plus, they're gorgeous and handmade in Japan!4
Effective, but basically like any other blotting paper you can get (but with much prettier packaging!) If you are willing to pay a little more for more luxurious packaging (which, admit it, we all are sometimes) then go for it! They do work wonderfully.4
These are very nice, but for what you pay they are a bit expensive. I love blotting paper and the packaging is great, but the price will prevent me from purchasing again.4
These are great blotting papers. I've been using them all summer during the heat wave since I use public transportation and walk everywhere. They're bigger than most and so pretty!4
I bought these for my daughter and she loves them. We tried other brands that were more plastic feeling than paper. These work well for her skin and are very portable.4
The case is adorable and I love how the papers reduce sheen without making me look ashy. Will buy again.4
I just received these in the mail today and I am already enjoying using these. They're very delicate on the face and they are much bigger than the ones I normally use. I liked that I only need to use one sheet instead of 2 or 3.4
