You can thank profligate Japanese royalty for Tatcha's elegant blotting papers: during Imperial times, handmade paper was used to protect gold and silver as it was hammered into decorative gold leaf. Geishas used the leftover papers, flecked with precious metals, to keep their skin matte.
I got them and they say there non-oily but they kinda are! Other than that I love these things!!!4
I love Tatcha! I use many of there products but these papers are not worth the buy. I had to use more than one to make my face non oily. With my other go to papers, I always only use one. My other papers only cost $5 for 50. These are $12 for 30 sheets. I don't recommend these papers.1
I have been using blotting papers for several years now. I first received a sample from Birchbox and was sold. I ordered these just to try a different brand and they work about like any blotting paper, but nice thing is their size. They are at least twice the size of the Clean & Clear brand, so you only need one, which makes them less expensive overall. The packaging is really nice too. Would be something pretty to include with a gift.5
I've used many different brands of blotting papers in the past with decent results. These, I have to say, work better than any of the others I've tried. Not sure what it is that's different about them, but they really absorb the excess oil my skin creates. These will definitely be a staple in my purse from now on.5
Tasha blotting papers are fun to use and do a great job at absorbing oil that builds during the day. These are large and size and you rarely need to use more than one.4
So I really love these, the packaging, the presentation, etc. But the problem is, they really are almost too pretty to use. Add the price into that and I consider them my "special occasion" blotting papers and keep more generic ones with me for everyday.5
When I went to Europe this summer I brought these blotting papers with me. I don't know if it was the humidity or change in diet but I felt I was blotting a lot more. Although the blotters worked great it felt like they filled with oil too quickly. I would have liked a small powder finish that would rest on the face after blotting. Otherwise, I am home now and I am able to blot less often but I would still like a small amount of that powder.4
I love these blotting papers over any other. They always soak up all of the excess oil and leave my face refreshed without disturbing my makeup. I just wish they were cheaper!5
These sheets really work help take out the oils in your skin. I use these at least once a day! It's a quick fix through the day, especially if you are always on the go.4
Tacha is a great brand and these papers are divine. Twice the size as the normal blotting paper, these soak up every bit of oil on your face without having to use more than one sheet. You get what you pay for, and these are worth every penny.5
