You can thank profligate Japanese royalty for Tatcha's elegant blotting papers: during Imperial times, handmade paper was used to protect gold and silver as it was hammered into decorative gold leaf. Geishas used the leftover papers, flecked with precious metals, to keep their skin matte.
I have very oily skin.By the end of my work day I am pretty much gross. If I don't have time to shower before going out I whip out these babies and Voila!! all that gross oil is gone. Reapply makeup and I am as fresh as a daisy! The ultimate lifesaving best product!5
I love Tatcha blotting papers, the gold flecks add some class! They do a great job and do not remove your make-up.5
These papers perfectly fit in my purse and are easy to use. They do the trick during my workday and give me a quick mid-day boost for matting my complexion. Love them!5
Blotting paper is not easy to find. These Tatcha papers are the best!! They are easy to care, the size is great (larger than most), and they really to take off the oil and leave behind a nice matted look. And they are very inexpensive.5
Although these blotting papers are expensive, they absorb so much oil. They are all around elegant, and are a perfect treat for anyone with super oily skin, like me.4
These papers make a girl feel sooo fancy! They do the job for sure, but just having such a beautiful, gold-flecked, semi-indulgent product sitting on my vanity makes me feel kinda royal or something :)4
I got them and they say there non-oily but they kinda are! Other than that I love these things!!!4
I love Tatcha! I use many of there products but these papers are not worth the buy. I had to use more than one to make my face non oily. With my other go to papers, I always only use one. My other papers only cost $5 for 50. These are $12 for 30 sheets. I don't recommend these papers.1
I have been using blotting papers for several years now. I first received a sample from Birchbox and was sold. I ordered these just to try a different brand and they work about like any blotting paper, but nice thing is their size. They are at least twice the size of the Clean & Clear brand, so you only need one, which makes them less expensive overall. The packaging is really nice too. Would be something pretty to include with a gift.5
I've used many different brands of blotting papers in the past with decent results. These, I have to say, work better than any of the others I've tried. Not sure what it is that's different about them, but they really absorb the excess oil my skin creates. These will definitely be a staple in my purse from now on.5
