You can thank profligate Japanese royalty for Tatcha's elegant blotting papers: during Imperial times, handmade paper was used to protect gold and silver as it was hammered into decorative gold leaf. Geishas used the leftover papers, flecked with precious metals, to keep their skin matte.
I love these so, so much. For someone with oily skin that no amount of mattifying products will control, blotting paper is a must. So far, this one is at the top of my list.
But I put this on my wish list and pray it goes on sale in order to keep my stash at a good level.
These blotting papers are great to have on hand at work. I use them at least once a day and it's way easier then trying to touch up my makeup to combat shine. Plus, having 30 sheets per packet means not having to re-order as frequently as similar products.5
I seriously use these alot when I'm traveling. Living in California and moving around continuously throughout the day gets a little hectic and these are great for blotting without ruining your makeup! Definitely helps keep things long-lasting as they should be and perfect for having in your bag for day to day use!4
The gold flecks just do me in! They work superb for blotting, and I feel like a princess/goddess using them. Nice packaging too, great for my work bag!5
These are fabulous little papers! I love them and will be purchasing again. They work well and look beautiful too:)5
I have very oily skin and although it doesn't keep shine away for long it does work well5
Great at getting that extra bit of oil off your face. Love this product!5
One of the things I most have in my summertime bag.5
I use these blotting papers for my long airplane flights, great way to feel clean and fresh faced plus the packaging is beautiful5
I love the packaging and fancy look of these papers however, I think they are little pricey for what you get. Probably won't buy this product again as I can get a comparable product at the drug store.4
