Removing old polish used to be an ordeal that was only slightly better than a trip to the DMV. Dramatics aside, our lives did just get a lot easier thanks to this non-toxic polish remover. The formula contains only cruelty-free ingredients and doesn’t emit unpleasant acetone fumes. It’s gentle on our nails yet works quickly, saving us both time and frustration.
This product is definitely all natural, and you can tell - for better and for worse.
It smelled far lovelier than nail polish remover should, and left my nails feeling hydrated and beautiful after use - a far cry from the typical dry, damaged feeling I get with drug store remover.
That said, the remover is made from an oil and feels very oily, causing the liquefied nail polish/remover oil to rub all over my fingers and hands, ending up in little splotches all over the room. Be careful of stains when using this product!
I was skeptical about this when I first received it. I tried taking off nail polish from one nail, and it seemed to take forever. Once it got through the top coat of nail polish though, the rest came off easily. I love that you can basically use one cotton swab for all 10 nails, unlike traditional nail polish removers. It makes my nails feel nice after too, not dried out. I'd highly recommend this product5
Not only does it take your polish off and not dry out your nails, my niece spilled blue nail polish on my hardwood floor. After cleaning up as much as I could with a paper towel, I put a small amount of this on a piece of cotton and gently worked the rest of the polish off the floor. It did not ruin the finish at all.5
I purchased this because I wanted to compare it to Exo Pure Remover Nail Polish Remover (Lavender). They run neck and neck. It smells really good. I like the way it makes my nails feel, like the oils are condition my nailbed. It’s not harsh like removers with acetone where your nails look super dry and brittle. It’s still like Exo in that it works best on clear nail polish and you have to give it a good rub to remove the polish. I’m a fan and will purchase again!5
I use this stuff weekly, and while it's somewhat slower than drugstore remover - and I have to rub a little more - it smells much better and seems less chemical-y. I think it's easier on my nails and cuticles, too. Truthfully, I haven't used any other nail polish remover since I sampled this in my box. Just bought another bottle tonight!5
Removed my polish and left my cuticles soft. No bad smell.5
I love this product. It smells clean, of tea tree oil, and leaves behind the slightest oil to rub into your cuticles. Feels like you're actually doing good for your nails when removing polish. You do have to rub a bit harder, but it works, and leaves your nails clean and healthy. LOVE!
For a nail polish remover, i was not expecting the oily texture of this product, but it left my nails super soft without that drying effect of acetone. it took a bit longer for the polish to come off, but I felt super luxurious using it. I purchased the lavender scent, and it has a very pleasant scent.4
I honestly figured it would take several applications of this to get the polish off, but it didn't! I soaked a cotton ball in the solution, put it to my nail and rubbed it back and forth. I only needed one cotton ball per hand, despite two layers of polish and one layer of strengthener on each nail. I also love that it doesn't have such a chemically smell as other polish removers do.
Now, I need to mention that I only used this on my natural nails. If you are looking for a review of removing the polish off of fake nails, I really don't know. I do know that it made my natural nails feel clean and smooth. I'm really happy with this product and feel good that I can use it on my daughter's nails because it is chemical-free!
I bought this to use while I was pregnant, as I was trying to limit the use of chemicals on and around my body during that time. This smells fantastic (I bought lavender), which, come on... who would say that about NAIL POLISH REMOVER?! But more importantly, it works! It is also really gentle. I have used it at least a dozen times and there is still a ton left.... It requires a little more elbow grease than traditional nail polish remover... meaning you have to scrub a little harder, but who cares?! It's amazing. I highly recommend.5
