You don’t need to be Lady Gaga to rock this look. Temporary lip tattoos are the most daring trend to hit the streets since bow-shaped hair, but they’re also surprisingly wearable. Violent Lips are perfect for those occasions when you want to stand out (think late night bashes and dance floors lit by disco balls). Each pack comes with three water-activated tattoos, enough for plenty of memorable occasions.
This is such a bad idea, looks tacky, hard to apply, and it feels like melted plastic on your lips. Not sure where glitter gold lips would be acceptable?1
I got this sample for the month of October. I totally understand that the purpose of the Halloween theme was to try something new and branch out, but, glitter lip tattoos is not exactly up my ally of trying something new, especially because it can pretty much only be worn to some kind of theme party. It seems like a cute idea for Lady Gaga to wear in her music videos, or for a teen to wear while playing dress up with her girlfriends (I still played dress up when I was a teen!). Unfortunately, I don't think I would even wear these to a Halloween party. I would maybe wear something like lip tattoos if they a nice gloss or color on it that lasts all night and looks natural without drying out your lips!1
These are cute and the sparkle is definitely fun. I tried to use them for halloween but I got so annoyed trying to successfully apply the product that I gave up.1
These are great fun for holidays like halloween and new years. Not easy to eat or drink with, but a fun product regardless!4
These lip tattoos are nothing but a ball of fun, great for special occasions. If applied correctly they can last upwards of 12 hour with moderate eating and drinking (clearly you would not want to eat ribs or anything (-: ).3
I love Violent Lips! I got sparkly pink & could not be happier! These are such a smart idea. They make you feel pretty & super girly!4
Violent lips are great for partys, and concerts. They are soooooo fun, but can be tricky to apply. Its great to watch the how to video before, and while appling the lips.4
Not sure why they would think a 47 year old would put glitter on their lips. Needless to say, I won't be using this. I looked up the other review and a 27 year old thought it was too young for her!1
I tried these out last night to see if I could use them for Halloween today. I ended up cutting them too long and so when I put them on, they puckered. I would have tried them again today but I work at 6am and I didn't have time to play with it. Overall I like the product but it's a difficult application.3
I got the pink color in my birchbox and while they are cute they are definitely for the younger crowd. I actually pulled mine out for Halloween and while they were cute, they were very difficult to apply, didn't stick to my lips well and ended up balling up in the top and bottom corners and around the edges regardless of proper application. After spending 20 minutes applying them I wore them for another 30 minutes before they annoyed me enough that I pulled them off. Really cute when they were on but I wouldn't waste your money.2
