We surveyed all our curly haired friends and the results were unanimous: Miss Jessie’s® detangling formula is the best of the best. Whether your hair is frizz-prone and curly, chemically processed, or just plain parched, it will soften your strands without weighing them down. Plus, it doubles as a leave-in treatment for those days you need an extra layer of hydration.
On opening the product it smelled old. I used it and didn't think much of it. I was expecting something amazing. Didn't like it at all.1
Sadly I threw it out after opening it. The smell was strong and not for me. It might work well, but for those of us who don't like a strong smell.1
I have wavy to curly hair and I thought this product could be a secret tip, but no. I didn't like the smell and it made my hair neither softer nor anything. In fact it was a lot like the generic 2in1 shampoo/conditioner you get at cheap hotels.1
Got this as a sample and I used it over Thanksgiving break. I hated the smell- very chemically and I did not see an improvement in the texture and condition of my hair.1
This stuff smells horrible! It doesn't leave my hair feeling conditioned. Instead it makes my hair feel dry and matted! I hope I never get another sample from this brand because this stuff is disgusting!1
I almost didn't want to even try this, cause the smell was disgusting! But I did and it didn't even do much to my hair. I felt no difference. I washed my hair again the next day just to get the smell out.1
I don't have curly hair, but it is color treated, so I thought it would still suck up some moisture-- not the case. My hair didn't feel any better-- and the smell is not good, at all.1
I really disliked the smell of this product. Also, not sure why I got this product since I specifically said I have straight, non-chemically processed hair. In any case, it did make my hair feel softer the two times I used it, but I couldn't get over the smell.1
I thought since it had the name Jessica (me too!!), I'd love it. Nope. I have color treated, bleached hair, and all it did was matt my hair. Like one big nastylong hair cat matted hair ball.1
How can this be getting good reviews? It is AWFUL, no wonder it is marked down to 6 dollars CLEARANCE at Target. It smells of awful chemicals, because that is what it is made of. Plus this is targeted towards women with thick, curly hair, which is great, but I thought the point of filling out those profiles were to avoid getting these in your BB. Come on Birchbox, you're more creative than this! No more bottom of the barrel products.1
