We surveyed all our curly haired friends and the results were unanimous: Miss Jessie’s® detangling formula is the best of the best. Whether your hair is frizz-prone and curly, chemically processed, or just plain parched, it will soften your strands without weighing them down. Plus, it doubles as a leave-in treatment for those days you need an extra layer of hydration.
It smells very detergent like. And I noticed that there is artificial colors in it as well. I only used it once. Not impressed.1
I didn't like the smell at all. It reminded me of a musty old house. It left my hair so soft I could hardly style it.1
Not a fan of this at all. I couldn't get over the fact that it smelled like dog shampoo to even consider whether it did or did not do anything for my hair.1
I have very thick, curly hair and I am always on the hunt for great hair care products. This wasn't it. It did not delta gel my hair so I wouldn't purchase it, but then again a lot of products don't work on my hair.1
This was a horrible product. It made my hair feels greasy and I actually rewashed my hair after using the product. It also smells so terrible. I would not buy this!1
I was not a big fan of this conditioner- I felt like I had to use a lot of it cover my hair and it didn't smell very good. It made my hair have lots of fly aways and made it difficult to comb, I will not be purchasing this.1
I didn't care for this product at all. It smelled like the shampoo I buy for my dog and it made my hair very flat and it looked kind of greasy. My hair isn't very curly but it is wavy. This is one of my least favorite birch ox finds1
After reading the packaging, I was really excited to try this conditioning treatment, but it was quite a let down! My hair is naturally straight, but this product dish.t leave it smoother or any softer than after shampooing. I couldnt easily brush through my hair when it was wet and the smell is really strong. Tried it a second time and it was no better, so I went back to my normal conditioner and weekly conditioning mask.1
I have frizz prone, curly, color treated hair, so it sounded like this product was made for me. It was't.
A) I found the smell to be really offensive. It seemed like I was putting something harsh and chemically on my hair.
B) Having dry and curly hair, I know my heavy conditioning products and this was probably the worst I've ever used. Somehow it managed to make my hair feel more dry, brittle, and tangled than before I used it.
Really not a pleasant experience!
The first time I used it I was surprised to find the scent was SO strong it gave me a headache. I was happy with the texture it gave my hair the first time but the second was disappointing. Maybe it left too much residue build up like many other conditioners.1
