We surveyed all our curly haired friends and the results were unanimous: Miss Jessie’s® detangling formula is the best of the best. Whether your hair is frizz-prone and curly, chemically processed, or just plain parched, it will soften your strands without weighing them down. Plus, it doubles as a leave-in treatment for those days you need an extra layer of hydration.
This conditioner has been life changing. I have strange curly hair. The curls are tighter underneath and the top layers of my hair are wavy. I really have to force my hair to look uniform. I have literally spent thousands on products and hair services to get it to look the way it has been since I started using this product. Because my hair is fine, it doesn't have a lot of volume and oomph. This definitely does the trick. I use it in conjunction with Miss Jessie's Slippery Shampoo, Unite's Bo-oing Curl setting cream, and Unite's versa gel. It has made a world of difference.5
Much like the shampoo from the same brand that accompanied this product in my March Birchbox, I wasn't impressed. I don't feel that it accomplished what it advertized. My hair felt quite frizzy and dried out after I air dried my hair. I used it a second time to be certain that my first impressions weren't off. Unfortunately, it did not fair better the second time.2
Love this conditioner! I bought the full size. I have pretty coarse curly hair and am really picky about my hair product. Not only is this conditioner good for a leave-in, but it also works well when i rinse it out.5
I loved this! I am currently transitioning my relaxed hair. I naturally have thick, tight curls. I noticed my hair was softer and less frizzy even before styling. Definitely recommend.5
I was really excited to try this product on my dry curly hair, as it was the first Miss Jessie's product I had received through Birchbox. I had heard great things about the line, and was looking forward to seeing how it would treat my hair. I hated it! It smells like a perm (to me) and was just not moisturizing enough. I could tell immediately after rinsing it out that it was just not enough moisture for my hair. After applying my usual curly-hair products, my curls were loose and not at all how I wanted them to look. I tried it several times hoping that I would change my mind, to no avail. I'm afraid it's just not for me.1
I have curly natural hair and I've been trying numerous products to see what would work for my hair best. Currently I use As I am, and was excited to try something new. While I like the smell of the conditioner, I don't feel like it has enough conditioning qualities. The product is quite thin to me. It may work for someone with much thinner or wavy hair.3
This conditioner is excellent for natural and permed hair, it provides the moisture us sisters need.5
didn't notice any dramatic difference to my curls. not sure i'd buy again3
Miss Jessie's Crème de la Crème does a fine job conditioning my hair, but it is not as the name suggests the creme de la creme. I would say this conditioner is average and comparable to many drugstore brands. Not worth the extra cost.2
this was already my favorite conditioner, and i had literally just ran out right as i received it in my birchbox. hip hip hooray.5
