If imitation is the highest form of flattery, then surely it’s never been easier to flatter Alexa Chung. The British style superstar is known for her effortless yet eye-catching makeup looks, and this two-piece set has everything you need to recreate her signature cat-eye.
I've tried the cat eye before and always ended up with just a mess eye. Not with this eyeliner. It's smooth as silk and goes on as thin or as thick as you want it. The mascara doesn't clump and it isn't all over my face by the end of the day. Plus it makes my lashes look thick but natural.
I'm a little too old to think the poster is cool and I read somewhere that the guitar pick can be used as a stencil to help get the cat line - but this stuff applies so easily that you honestly don't need it.
The eyeliner goes on smoothly and exactly where I put it. Love it. I have repurchased. The eyeliner was great until it was a couple months old then it got a little dry. I wore it out on the boat and it stayed in place5
I hadn't tried this eyeliner and mascara combo before, just went for it on a whim. Great, great eyeliner, especially for creating nice clean lines. The mascara is good. Great for lengthening, but OK for thickening. Lots of compliments on my eyes after wearing these products5
I hesitated purchasing this based on previous reviews, but after loving Eyeko's other products and doing my own research, I decided to purchase. This eyeliner has a thicker tip than Eyeko's other eyeliners and is a bit stiffer. This allows for a fuller line and bolder color. I find it to be a little much for daytime, yet perfect for going out. The mascara is also great - the packaging will allow for the product to be used to the very end!5
Eyeko Alexa Chung's Liquid Eyeliner goes on incredibly smooth and FLAWLESS in one swipe.
Most liquid liners require a couple of swipes to bring out the bold color, not Eyeko! I've gotten a sexy, sleek and bold cat-eye every time without going over each line to "fill in the blanks."
Eyeko's mascara leaves a little to be desired. It's a great color, it's lightweight and durable... Just no volume or 'pop!'
The two create a perfectly balanced look if you have naturally long lashes (I don't). I just need a little more volume for my short lashes.
I've tried a lot of different liquid eye liners and was excited to try this one after reading the description and reviews. I absolutely hated it! It did not go on smooth at all. I tried it several times and I could never get a nice straight line. I do really like the mascara that came with the set.1
This duo is really great. The eyeliner is inky and black, and goes on very nicely. The mascara brush is big and spikey-- it took me a few applications to get my groove on with it. The products go on and stay on all day, which is really important to me. Use a good product remover when it is time to take off -- you will need it.5
I love this mascara and eyeliner. I have been asked numerous times if I use Latisse (the eyelash med that makes your lashes fuller and longer).5
Eyeko is my eyeliner. I've tried others but this is the one for me. Not only do I have black but turquoise and plum as well. I wasn't sure about the mascara because I use another brand religiously but this is a nice natural looking break for me. Everyone I know uses Eyeko because I won't shut up about it. It's a flawless application which is hard to find.5
I love Eyeko, I can't say it enough. I purchased this mascara as a duo with the Alexa Chung Eye Do liner. I was surprised when I attempted to apply the mascara to my lashes that it was such an uneven brush (very long bristles next to very short), really hard to not get mascara on my eyelid. I have been fiddling around with my application process and have found that if I swipe in one direction (from the inside out) rather than apply straight up and down I am more successful. Once I do have the mascara on I am pleased with it throughout the day, no need to reapply when I go out at night (an experience I have NEVER had with mascara).4
