If imitation is the highest form of flattery, then surely it’s never been easier to flatter Alexa Chung. The British style superstar is known for her effortless yet eye-catching makeup looks, and this two-piece set has everything you need to recreate her signature cat-eye.
I've tried the cat eye before and always ended up with just a mess eye. Not with this eyeliner. It's smooth as silk and goes on as thin or as thick as you want it. The mascara doesn't clump and it isn't all over my face by the end of the day. Plus it makes my lashes look thick but natural.
I'm a little too old to think the poster is cool and I read somewhere that the guitar pick can be used as a stencil to help get the cat line - but this stuff applies so easily that you honestly don't need it.
I've tried a lot of different liquid eye liners and was excited to try this one after reading the description and reviews. I absolutely hated it! It did not go on smooth at all. I tried it several times and I could never get a nice straight line. I do really like the mascara that came with the set.1
I've always disliked liquid liners because it's a challenge to get bold color, precise lines because the brush tip is either dry or not firm enough.
Lots of rich bold color! Firm tip and can make thin to fat lines! Definitely a professional eyeliner and will purchase when I run out for sure!
Eyeliner is ok, applicator is a little dry so it seems to take a few swipes before I get the shade I want. The mascara is the worst I have ever used, by far! The brush bristles are very widely spaced which causes huge clumps! I would not recommend either product.2
Eyeliner goes on nicely then smears all day. Mascara isn't bad. Like the tube, I think it gets better coverage. Box it came in was ridiculous. Huge oatmeal sized tube for 2 tiny viles of make up. Felt gluttonously wasteful. Would not order again.2
I have been searching for a mascara that doesn't flake off under my eyes. Eyeko eye do mascara is awesome it makes my lashes look extremely long and no flaking.5
I was a HUGE fan of the original Eyeko formula and decided to try this version out once they changed it (and the brush system). It's ok but not as great as eyeko used to be. The eyeliner looks great at first but I find it fades as the day wears on, which is unfortunate because the brush is super handy for creating perfect lines- just wish it lasted longer.3
I love Eyeko liquid liner, and when I saw that the skinny liner was out of stock I thought I'd give this set a try. Oops. The liner is great as expected, but the mascara is a bust. The brush is hard to use without getting mascara on your eyelids and it encourages your lashes to clump together. It also smudges on me by the end of they day. I have no use for the included poster, so I basically ended up spending way too much for eyeliner. Definitely try Eyeko liner, but this kit is skipable.3
The eyeliner goes on smoothly and exactly where I put it. Love it. I have repurchased. The eyeliner was great until it was a couple months old then it got a little dry. I wore it out on the boat and it stayed in place5
I hadn't tried this eyeliner and mascara combo before, just went for it on a whim. Great, great eyeliner, especially for creating nice clean lines. The mascara is good. Great for lengthening, but OK for thickening. Lots of compliments on my eyes after wearing these products5
