Crazy curls, meet your match. This wondrous styling cream is designed to tamp down stubborn kinks and tame frizzy ringlets. The custard-like formula is especially good for ethnic or chemically treated hair, and is the perfect prep for fingerstyling, coiling, twists, and braids. Plus, the fresh pineapple scent makes us want to use it everyday.
For my particular curl type, corkscrew, this is too heavy and weighs my hair down. I feel like I can't quite wash it out with my non-lather shampoo. Nice smell though.2
If you have fine/wavy or fine/curly hair, this product may be too heavy and greasy for your hair. Smells amazing though!2
I have a little curl to my hair so I thought I'd give it a go. It smelled great, it felt nice, but I didn't see any difference in the way my hair looked, felt, styled... etc.2
I tried this product on my very wavy hair excited to see what the results were. I was disappointed in that it left my hair frizzy and didn't enhance my natural curl at all. It didn't work for my hair type.2
I liked the smell and the creamy texture. It was very easy to apply. However, it didn't smooth my curls.2
this was much too heavy for my fine curly hair...weighed it down and made it too textured.2
This product smells amazingly good! However, it dried out my hair something terrible! It didn't have a manageable feel to it at all and it was kind of stiff. It could work for others with not so curly hair, but it just didn't work for me.2
This stuff smells great, and it works to add wave without being crunchy. However, it leaves hair sticky. Sticky all day. I gave it to a friend for her birthday and she liked how it controlled her frizz and curl but when she went to the barn to feed her horses she left with hay and fuzz and dust stuck to her curls. Sadly it didn't work out for her because of that. Otherwise the curl control is great.3
I have naturally curly, fairly fine, brown hair. I was really wanting this to be the last product I tried. But, as I should have figured by now, there is no prefect product. My hair still gets frizzy and doesn't stay together. I have found it better used as a cream after my mousse, and after my hair has dried most of the way.
Does leave things nice and soft, but curls don't stay defined for me.
I really love Miss Jessie's Quick Curl and wanted to try a different product to see if I could get more definiteion to my curls. I have boingy-type curls that frizz up in summer (I am caucasian) The Curly Meringue didn't do what I wanted - maybe I could mix it with the Quick Curl.3
